All you have to do is blow a can of compressed air through the bottom out the top. Very simple. No need to open it up.
VR is just too isolating. I don't like using it at home alone and for it to be truly immersive you need space. That required me to move furniture around. Too much of a hassle for the 15/20 minute experiences.
I guess its confusing if you can't read, but warriors are going to war.
Wonder if this really matters. I will say this was Sony's PR right before PS4 launch...
Sony: Native 1080p allows you to “be a better gamer”
Sony president Shuhei Yoshida and PS4 lead architect Mark Cerny argue that developing games in 1080p "makes a difference."

Folks should go watch old youtube videos of Playroom on PS4 from 2013. The press were initially amazed at the DS4 speaker and touch pad too. You could shake the controller and hear the cute little robots in it and vacuum them up. They were giddy about it.
"In our quest to put gamers and developers first we chose to wait for the most advanced technology from our partners at AMD before finalizing our architecture."
Microsoft waiting for AMD to complete its RDNA 2 engineering. As been said Sony was going to launch PS5 last years with some RDNA 2 features.
"Xbox Series X|S are the only next-generation consoles with full hardware support for all the RDNA 2 capabilities AMD showcased today."
4k at 60fps vs 4k and 60fps
Why the distinction? Ask Ubisoft.
It just his opinion. If you don't agree that's ok. That's your opinion. Its not that serious.
I guess folks can regurgitate the same talking points everyday. It is what is. Nobody buys a console based strictly on 1st party launch games. MS just spent $7.5billion to expand their studio roster to 23 so the investment in the hardware is secure. My GP subscription is until 2023 so I'm good.
Free upgrades. Who could complain about that?
The chimney or stack effect wouldn't be applicable to the PS5. Series X is simple common sense design. It has an axial fan that moves larger volumes of air an centrifugal fans. So putting it at the top which facilitates the exhausting of the naturally rising heat just make sense from a design standpoint.
PS5 (in vertical orientation) is interesting. It uses a centrifugal fan positioned at the top front of the unit sucking air into the system instead of blowing it out. T...
Optimized Gears 5 4k60/120 using RDNA 2 features is hardly a current gen workload. Also PS4 Pro and One X were both measured by Digital Foundry @ 67c degrees at there hottest. Don't know why Richard forgot that. Here's links to both measurements by them.

Why would the fan need to be adjusted post launch. Shouldn't it already be programed to adjust to cpu/gpu load and heat?
There's no disc drive on the S.
"The real aim was cost reduction". Hmm, wasn't this exactly what Richard was saying in the Digital Foundry video?
The 1080P/120FPS is pretty impressive as well. Its a great console for gaming on a monitor.
Watching the video Richard seems to indicate that the CPU decompression is the main factor in load times rather than usb transfer speed.
Gets the big banner too.
Damn, wasn't expecting that. What's going on?
