That's true, there's plenty of options and if all else fails someone will mod it.
It might get shoehorned onto Steam a year after the console release, sure. With terrible controls, no doubt.
As someone who kinda enjoyed FFXIII in the post-game stage, the Lightning Returns demo was meh on so many levels.
No SSD drive = long load times. Until consoles get rid of mechanical HDDs and optical drives there will always be less than optimal loading times.
This is going to be huge. Witcher 3 will be THE RPG of 2014, but for some reason I think a lot of people will ignore it. At least it's on PS4/X1 so it's bound to garner attention.
AC2 was a better depiction of Assassin's Creed. AC4 is a lot more fun, though.
I'd rather dodgy indie games on Steam than the broken juggernaut that was Rome 2.
Absolutely can't wait..
It's a bit of a strange title for a Definitive Edition isn't it? Why not have a Deus Ex Human Revolution next-gen port, rather than the pointless Director's Cut release?
Tomb Raider originally failed to meet Square Enix's sales expectations, so maybe they wanted to further capitalise on the title...
I remember playing this when it was free for a time, really awesome strategy RPG. Reminds me of the good old days...
Yes please. Also, Joan of Arc seems like an obvious choice for an AC game, since she claimed to hear voices from "god". We never had an AC game set in medieval Europe, funnily enough.
Yay, some recognition for Ni no Kuni! Here's hoping for a sequel.
Seems like a terrible year for the 360 IMO. A write-off of a console during 2013.
PC had some real gems but all the major titles like Company of Heroes 2 and Rome 2 were disappointing.
A fighting game as PS3 GOTY? While fun, I'm not so sure. At the end of all things, opinions abounds.
Stopped playing when human enemies and the cover system came up. Never bothered to finish it..
Finally, some real stealth.
Nothing is future proof. You can't stop the future.
Wow, didn't even think about these things before reading this...
@thehitman complains about lack of innovation in PC gaming and yet plays Starcraft 2! It's the same game it was a decade ago.
I'd rather play my stale PC games than my innovative PS4 games like Knack lol.
Agreed, Black Flag was the best pirate game ever with a great pirate story. But there was hardly anything "Assassin" about it.
Gameplay is still too easy, stealth is a bit laughable and starting a new AC game is like going back to work. You know exactly what to do and it's the same rhythm all over again.
That's correct, but MS were forced to create new IPs because most of their devs have left, been shutdown or make games for multiplatform now. Here's hoping they keep their devs close and happy this time.
Awesome, so glad these games were localised out here.
