If you would look at the threat you yourself put as example you can see the culprit threaten her because he allegedly called her a "feminist", so why would you try so hard the next few paragraphs to picture she's threatened because she's a woman developer?
Now the threats were bad, but still you need to write it as it is, the threat came because these "savage fans" suspect her as bad feminist, not because she works in game industry. No need to steer a viewp...
Suikoden 2 along with Xenogears, FF IX, and Chrono Trigger is up there in the list of unforgettable games for me.
actually both gave the early gameplay good reviews, but because it kind of drag on the hide-and-seek for too long the gameplay and atmosphere lost its charm later on. Maybe it performs well on the hands-on because of that very reason.
Seems like horror hide-and-seek type of games can't have too long game length, especially if the baddie is already world famous. Maybe it'll be better if it's like amnesia where the hunter is mysterious and of unknown origin, not something st...
the deal is for paid branding deal not for paid review score.. still shady though.
dev's having difficulty certainly is a contributing factor too, but we can't go around yelling it's a lack of development.
Most of the case is that it'll only make the development time and funds to grow needlessly if they choose to push the XB1 version to be equal to its PS4 counterpart. It's just not worth it sacrificing your money and time so that fanboys can have a clear state of mind, the difference isn't that important anyway, it's only important to f...
To me:
jrpg - puts you on someone's shoes, experiencing his life story, pain and joy from being a nobody to a world's saviour.
wrpg - you get to be your daily jackass even in a game.
piracy is morally worse as it is considered the same as theft, but preowned games is more damaging to the economy.
Most piracy happens in third-world country where the law is too lax on piracy and people who pirate games don't even considered buying the game in the first place, they simply won't play games if it can't be pirated. Preowned games however, is causing more profit loss because the ones who buy it are potential customers, to them playing game is a hobby they'...
depends on the country where it happens,
on most developing countries people simply won't play video games if it can't be pirated. In these countries spending money for gaming is still considered blasphemy by the majority of working adults even if they have more than enough money to do so, unless it's only for the initial purchase.
The proof is that PS2/PSP hardware sales were very very high in these countries because the games can be pirated. And when PS...
Game-wise it is underrated, yes, but maybe we can see it this way:
2 of the 3 games you mention is multiplayer-focused. Now this won't be a problem if you live on competitive console market like NA/UK, but on the rest of the world chances are high you have little to no friends playing on XB1, rendering multiplayer games less interesting no matter how good they are, furthermore making XB1, a console that boast good array of multiplayer-focused games seems like secondary option to g...
lol, football is the most famous sport, it's a no brainer.
oh and it's soccer to you.
I thought Rockstar themselves said they'll never bring GTA outside US? Even if they do it won't be titled GTA if my memories are correct..
globally it's a no-brainer really, we always play on PS before, most of our friends are on PS, and many non-gaming feature are useless outside NA. Those who buy XB are most likely passionate fans of its titles or gamers who have the funds to buy both console.
I'd say the focus on multiplayer gaming has somehow hurt XB sales, it doesn't help in areas where XB is the minority, people just won't buy it if none of their friends buy it.
what, you think every studios have the same funds and experience in making games as Rockstar/Naughty Dog?
even they start small before being big names..
+1 super fan.
awesome, he seems ready to make it if it gets enough interest, give the man a shout out guys.
IMO Xbox needs to stop thinking on how to catch up and start thinking on a long-term view: creating future first-party studios, slow but steadily building fanbase on various genres not just shooter, and stop being jack-of-all-trades and start focusing on what sells game console the most.
It's still got Ar Nosurge, Fairy Fencer F, Natural Doctrine, P4 Arena Ultimax, Tales of Zestiria, and KH 2.5 for me to play before I let it rest. Also still got many backlog games, those JRPG takes so long to finish let alone getting platinum..
"with journalists covering the debut far outnumbering buyers"
that's painful alright..
Well, good luck to Japanese MS marketing division. I dont even have the heart to laugh..
"time you enjoy wasting is not time wasted"
lol, I imagine there must be some who want to get in line to buy it but when they get there and see empty line they're like "aw man, there's no way I'm gonna stand there alone waiting for the launch with these reporters ready to take photos", and then go back home and buy online instead.
I don't think they'll release FF XV in 2015 since FF Type-0 HD will be released that year, most likely the demo will be available in 2015 and the actual game in 2016.
also Persona 5 needs to be on that list.
