He's not saying Blu-ray is slower than DVD,he's saying that Blu-ray is still slow in seeking/reading data if there isn't an install first on your hard drive.
That's why some games that was large in size on the PS3 had to download data first to your hard drive before it can start.

What boggles my mind,if a game like Ryse which DOES look like a next gen game can achieve 900p,then how come a game that isn't as demanding like COD:Ghosts can't achieve 1080p easily ?

They are trying too hard to downplay KS:SF for the fanboys on other consoles to make fun of it,when they know that a game with these visuals can only be achieved on a PC or a next gen console and you can never see a game with these visuals on the PS3,period.

On the other hand,GameXplain are Nintendo fanboys.
You get 24 players AND 24 drones,so the total is 48 entities on one single map,that's promising to say the least.
No it won't,which sucks really because Killzone:Shadow Fall actually LOOKS next gen & is promising with the new things they added to Killzone MP.
People will go with the more popular franchise,like COD & since Titan Fall is basically the same as COD,it will have the COD treatment between it's fans.
At least you get to have a jet-pack & a mech in Titan Fall which DOES seem fun to me.

COD is the KING of generic shooters & Titan Fall looks exactly as generic as call of duty,it's basically COD with mechs & wall-jumps thrown...
You missed the point,those two system AREN'T JUST about the exclusives,they have MAJOR third party support & that's key to winning next gen.
Third party games are becoming more & more appealing,not to mention that the Wii spark(which made it the best selling console last gen) has died,no one looks at the WiiU and thinks :
"Wow,I like the new touch screen controller" because believe it or not,it makes it hard for you to focus from one...
New 3D Mario is going to be awesome to play,I really love 3D Mario games.
You should get a WiiU later if you haven't already,wait for the WiiU exclusive library to wide up though,3D Mario is a must buy(for me at least!).
It will surely move hardware and software sales for the WiiU,don't think it will outsell the PS4 or XboxOne though since it's their LAUNCH and already sold out.
Not to mention that the XboxOne has a great launch line-up with the PS4 right behind it with a good launch as well(lacking exclusives atm but still has major third party games coming for it & the exclusives are just around the corner for the first Q of 2014).

I would say he's giving away the answer and just saying that the rumors are true,I hope not but his answer is just cringe worthy.
It's because of the 60FPS,guns the screen will move at a faster pace & the everything else will seem much faster.
You'll probably notice it if you play single player VS multiplayer.
Can't wait to play this game! :D
