Exactly,they either sacrifice some of their visuals for the sake of 60fps or just lock it to 30fps with most of the visuals and game design intact,they chose the latter.

Kinect is a joke,you or any other Xbox fanboy praising it wouldn't make it look any hotter or better.
A kinectless XboxOne is what I want,if I needed a kinect one day then I won't mind shilling out a $100 dollar for it THEN! but forcing it on me to pay an extra $100 for;when I know that it's crappy right now isn't helping ME as a consumer to see a good deal with the XboxOne.
Downloading it to my steam account right now,2 hours and a half to go till I can RE-play this awesome game in all it's glory with 1080p & 60fps.
It's not on 3 platforms,just PS3&Xbox360.
Why did thy choose not to release to game for PC is beyond me,will..they lost a purchase there.

You actually CAN jump in Dark Souls,it's either rolling(pressing circle button) or running jump(running and then pressing the left analog stick <L3>).
No regular one jump button though...
