In the UK the backbone is £100. The portal is £200. Only £100 more for such a better thing. I'll be using 3.5mm headphones to save some coin. Zero lag would (and I mean would, mine hasn't arrived yet) equals a top product. It's yet to be seen but no lag makes this thing awesome for me
Yeah 100% agree, like the bluetooth integration on the PS Portal that allows any headphones to be connected, It's not like they're making us shell out more coin on 'special headphones' that only work with some 'magic unique to sony' connection method. Lol.

A lot of businesses are struggling in this current economic climate, some are going bust, some are diversifying and some have lay offs. I'm pretty sure they're not doing it 'for the laugh' or to be horrible on purpose. Its a lot of employees to pay, 19,410 is a scary number when you do some basic maths. Average wage, working hours multiply by no. of employees. Wow, we'll all have to buy Avatar on day one so that this doesn't continue.

Bloober makes a game in 2 years (ish), a year since announcement, lets say date reveal soon and 3-6 month to release. So quite soon presumably, unless they're having issues. Not a day 1 for me though, need to see lots of user reviews first

That OG ps5 looks exactly like mine, same side panels and a black dualsense to match. Never been a fan of white consoles in general, that's just me though
