Yeah i am fine with not being connected mandatory at all times, but do not make a kinctless sku and separate the install base because then devs for games would not use it to enhance the core experience and it will become tossed aside just like kinect this gen.

in terms of gameplay latency i dont know if the sony controller uses the newer version of bluetooth version 2- 3/4 but even if it did the data transfer rate is increased from 3mbps to 30mbps at the most. It will not make a difference in this case if you compare to 250 mbps, that shaves off 2-3 milliseconds.

Take sony psn network for example and compare it to gold. I am sure it took off because there are so many psn players (probably more than gold members). Guess xbox live gold got left in the dust... but wait a minute doesn't xbox have 40 million active subscribers? And didn't sony just follow msoft policy for pay to play online for full fledged retail titles like call of duty and battlefield on ps4? i guess sony is following a dusty...

Chances are if you are interested in playing online or f2p games you will buy psn plus.However if sony sees f2p take off and no one buying psn+ because all they play are playing is f2p then sony will readjust their policy to maximize their profits- if not this gen than definitely ps5 lol.

The red ring was due to using a high end gpu and cpu with high clock rate and the paste they used for the parts melted under the heat far too quickly and the cooling system just could not keep up leading to system failures lol. NOT RAM LOL.

hey i am getting an x1 and have played both dead rising games- i did not finish the first because it just was not compelling (slightly boring if you ask me. The second was definetly better than the first but mostly because of co opand that was my main reason for finishing that game- i would agree if i played the second one by myself it would have been more boring.
But in all honesty the third is shaping up to be very impressive, the amount of zombies ...

I respect your oppinion on the preference of the dualshock however for shooters- the triggers and control sticks felt better to me on 360. I found myself slipping when using the ds3 since the sticks are convex shape with no grip. Good to see they improved it however on the ds4.
