Considering the game has been in the news for a solid nine or ten months and had 8 years of news, rumors, memes, and gamers hitting puberty, I would think it needs no marketing push. We've met by this point.
I can't imagine paying that much and not being to play it or open it to see what 1996 smells like.
As interesting as that would be, this seems like a welcome variation to PS5's Game Help feature, assuming it was widely implemented.
Besides, adding more accessibility for players with slower reaction times or disabilities is a great thing. In the end, at least it's a toggle and doesn't need to be on.
I can't be the only one wondering why the first player we see has two lamps right beside him? No wonder he bought that new Nintendo Switch Troll for that OLED.
Well, I see no reason to buy, which is a shame considering how sleek it looks.
Introducing the Nintendo Switch Troll! Almost all the revisions you thought you needed, with none of the power you wanted.
Oh wow, that sucks. Eternal Darkness was definitely an overlooked gem.
Depending on how bad you want to play it, considering how expensive the game is now, maybe you could get a emulated game and buy a Gamecube controller for pc? That is, of course, unless you're a purist, which I understand there too.
Sometimes I wonder the same thing about Nintendo, what with all the community's demands over the years and the Big N's refusal to go full Scrooge McDuck.
Native Americans, please.
As long as it ends with N64 support on the Switch's online service then that would be fantastic.
Well deserved.
Whew. A lot of M. Bison's in here. "Of course!"
Anyway, wait, wait! Lemme make this comment section authentic: "Nintendoomed!"
Wow, that really is pretty crappy. I now wonder how this will be viewed by the Sony camp and the overall gaming community. I'll definitely be monitoring the outcome. I appreciate the update, KillBill.
Oh, and this cannot be ignored, I like your username! It's going to be really hard not to read your comments and try to do a monologue with the screen in black and white.
The ESRB rating also notes that the PS4 version includes in-game purchases (the current retail one does not) and the PS5 version version does not, so it's likely the PS4 game will have an optional upgrade for those who bought it already.
To me, it looks as though Sony, with their newly branded PlayStation Studios, are looking to differentiate themselves from the competition with a cinematic-like brand of marketing with "Director's Cut" titles with the leak...
From the link I provided above in my first reply: "I guess you could call it an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game," Simon Rutter said. -- Here, Sony says expansion.
"Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the next adventure in the Marvel's Spider-Man universe. We will reveal more about this standalone game at a future date," Insomniac's Twitter. -- And here, Insomniac says standalone (multiple times).

Simon Rutter of Sony Interactive Entertainment's Executive Vice President of European Business: "I guess you could call it an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game. There's a substantial Miles Morales component -- which is the expansion element -- but also within the game as well there's been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features."
Here's an article ab...
Oddly enough, a sequel, thanks mostly to odd communication when it was first announced. Sony said one thing and Insomniac said something else. All and all, some say sequel, others expansion, so it remains a mess.
Miles Morales still felt like an expansion, like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
This was the biggest surprise! I'm unsure whether I'll get it or not since I still play and lose friends in the originals, but I'll definitely consider it.
Honestly, my first reaction was The Sims Rome, but I'm looking forward to the presentation nevertheless.
