I'm trading in Skyrim for this, had it since launch and haven't been able to get myself to play more than seven hours because Demon's Souls and Dark Souls have me so addicted to that type of gameplay. Dragon's Dogma however has a solid combat system and I expect the PS3 version to look like a sick PC game.
Anyone that thinks this looks that good has never played Killzone 2 or 3. Seriously, this franchise looks so dated. People cry about COD but that game has an excuse as it runs at 60FPS while this garbage runs 30FPS and still looks worse than any COD since the original MW. I just don't get why people like this crap. The visuals and gameplay are so archaic.
Yea I agree, I seriously can't understand the hate this franchise garnishes, or any franchise for that matter. It's silly really.

Well, as long as the PS3 version is V Synced with no screen tearing it will be a day one purchase for me. I love the demo and I'm hoping the final product is as polished as it appears to be.
I agree with you. In my opinion, the integration of MP into SP in Demon's Souls was sheer genius. That along with Dark Souls don't compromise SP because of MP or vice versa due to the brilliant implementation of both together.
I personally think it's tremendously underrated, I'm having a blast with Prototype 2, very fun game for me.
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are better than both if you can handle them.
This game has been unfairly reviewed for sure, it's nothing less than an 8 and unfortunately I have seen many 6's and 7's which can ruin sales.
He should worry about fixing the rampant screen tearing in the Gears franchise first so that maybe I can play it. I really hate Epic Games.
This is because they aren't primarily in the age range of 8-18 and actually appreciate a well made game like Demon's Souls or Journey. Thank God those games were exclusive to PS3 and not 360, they would've been failures more than likely on XBOX.
WTF? Any other game that received the scores this did would've sold no more than 50k except maybe a COD title. I guess the RE brand carried the sales. Guaranteed this will be one of the biggest sold back games this gen though.
I agree, it's an amazing open world experience. My wife witnessed the carnage and thought it was disturbing.
This is subjective, a game someone wants bad enough warrants a day one purchase for that specific person. I love Medieval RPG's which is why Demon's Souls and Dark Souls was a day one for me personally and I would have payed double just to get them at launch.
Dark Souls is the only game with a useful guide that is almost necessary in order to do and see everything. Demon's Souls also.
I plan on picking this up day one for PS3, the demo is very polished and sells the game in my opinion. It will be a welcome addition to my Medieval RPG collection. Nice little bonus to get the RE6 demo code as well.
I actually kind of liked Sessler, Morgan Webb on the other hand was a fake jake. Soooo many other people that could have done a better job with that show.
Some screen tearing and framerates as low as 26, wonder if the PS3 version is v synced because I have been playing and have almost completed the game and I haven't seen a single tear. Definitely a few frame drops but no tearing.
