PS4 is smooth as butter, love this game.
Funny, I haven't encountered that problem once on PS4 and have yet to hear or read about it until your post. You sure it wasn't the Xbone version?
On PS4 it most certainly is if you're a huge fan of the franchise. I would pay full price for a Demon's Souls Remaster right before Bloodborne's release, why not this? GTAV on PS4 looks breathtaking and the framerate is definitely improved. Also there are many other additional features like the First Person POV which makes the game feel completely different(especially when crashing and flipping inside a vehicle or going through the windshield, so cool), the increased player count ...
They will never catch Sony, I still can't believe how they could fail so hard coming off the uber success of the 360. I mean, c'mon, always online and no used games??? What moron thought this crap up and who gave it the greenlight?? Also the fact the Xbone is the less powerful console and was $100 more at launch. Also it came out a week later. MS screwed up so bad they will never catch up. They would need a couple must have miracle games to catch Sony at this point.
This is only true if you're a huge fan of MS exclusives like Halo, TitanFall, SSOD, Dead Rising 3, Ryse Etc. If not, PS4 offers much better value for the future in my opinion. Better quality multiplats and mind blowing exclusives like Bloodborne, The Order & Uncharted 4 on the way.
I'm looking forward to The Order: 1886. I haven't wanted a game so bad in quite some time. However, if the game is receiving 4/10 from almost every notable gaming site I follow, I won't spend $65 on it. Reviews can save you a lot of cash if you're an impulse buyer. If I only would have listened to the Haze reviews, perfect example....that was a waste of time and money I can never get back but I wanted the game and had to have it lol...
I was surprised to see more people at Gamestop for this re release on next gen only than for COD Day One on Sunday Midnight. Then again, there was also Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition available to pickup so I guess it makes sense.
Bad time to release this alongside GTA5 Re-Mastered, Far Cry 4 & Dragon Age Inquisition. Why not release on the Tuesday of Black Friday week? Combined with the sub par critical reviews the game is receiving, this could be very bad in terms of early sales. I know most people who play this aren't as concerned with above mentioned games and really look forward to LBP, but everyone loves GTA and I could easily see a lot of LBP gamers picking up Dragon Age first as it's getting stellar...
The OPEN ZONE was GREAT for a good laugh! Bring it back!
You sure do troll COD articles. I see you making negative comments in every single one. Don't you have a job or something more constructive to do with your time? I can understand one or two comments to get it out of your system, after that it's overkill. Anyway, if you played the game you would realize it's not laggy at all and it's really fun and competitive, albeit a bit repetitive but what MP isn't? Also, the campaign is great fun with good characters and the coop ain...
Glad I was anticipating this, it's not my type of game. I have plenty on PS4 to keep me busy with Destiny, GTA5 & Advanced Warfare. Probably will scoop Far Cry 4 too. The Order is the one game that will disappoint me if it scores like this. I'm so excited for that game.
COD Advanced Warfare will be a huge hit this holiday season along with GTA V and Destiny. All are great games that offer lots of value and most importantly, they're fun.
Broken is link
Not surprised by this honestly, they just gave Destiny a 6/10. I lost a bit of faith in Gamespot after that review and this sounds like BS too. I'm not even a Halo fan and I guarantee this deserves an 8/10 at least. That's just based on gameplay and value. And if this is due to the online problems, no review outlet skiewed gta5 which launched without online that was supposed to come with the game until the last minute.
I'm very surprised by the quality of graphics on PS4. The campaign looks next gen for COD compared to the modern warfare series last gen. The MP is a nice change and gives those who don't own Titanfall a taste of the speed and movement minus the titans. Add in the coop and soon to be zombie mode and this game just keeps on giving. Great value and it feels like Sledge actually gave a crap about the quality unlike Ghosts who's saving grace was the MP, otherwise it was useless.
This franchise appears to be heading downhill fast...Maybe Ubisoft should re-evaluate their business model.
When the game was first promoted on tv last year, it looked like the next gen versions. This was always planned.
why are they barefoot?
I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm glad this got delayed. I want to be able to focus on The Order and this game would ruin it probably. It would have been a very bad idea to release a game like this before a new IP.
There are so many games that came out in the last two months. There's something for everyone to enjoy from SSOD, Driveclub, COD: AW, GTAV Remaster, LBP3, Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age Inquisition and many more. Not enough for you right now? Would you rather have an inferior product or wait an extra 6 months for something that's not rushed out with bugs and ready for the market? If you can't find a new game to play at the moment there's something wrong with you.
