After my stealth playthrough, I would say this is a pretty accurate, well though-out list.
I don't think people with OCD should be allowed to review open world games. He spends an entire paragraph bitching about how you can't loot every single suitcase laying around.
I'm not sure why he doesn't think you can use money to buy supplies from vendors either - oh wait maybe it's because he hasn't even gotten far enough in the game to encounter one. Lame.
This game was never a day one for me. I never thought it was a sure thing. After reading a lot about it, though, it turned out to be a day two purchase. :)
Popping it in right now...
This just sounds like semantics to me.
"The sequence of events that takes place in Deus Ex: Human Revolution does not constitute a story."
That's not a story? That sounds almost like the exact definition of a story - the telling of a sequence of events.
Just about the only part of the narrative that I was disappointed in was the fact that you don't really experience the consequences of your decisions. Sure you make various...
I almost forgot about Zeke. In the first Infamous I thought he was the biggest douche in the world - no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Luckily he was a little more tolerable in the sequel.
Rose from MGS2. Her boyfriend is trying to stop a terrorist plot and all she can do is bitch about how he doesn't remember their anniversary - seriously irritating. Whoever thought that was even close to a good idea deserves a good beating.
Yeah, I'm disappointed about VC2 coming out on PSP as well. Lame.
Once again, Valkyria Chronicles is not underrated. It has been pretty much universally praised.

Unless the author knows a great deal more about the DLC than I do (possible I suppose), he seems to be making a lot of assumptions. For example, he assumes that the changes you make during the DLC don't have any effect your augs during the rest of the main game. I haven't read anything that seems to verify that. I could be wrong, but this just seems like an opportunity to respec your character - a welcome feature in my mind.
I agree with the poorly written part t...
I see no reason to separate powers and spells again. It always bothered me that powers could only be used once a day. Because of this, they're useless most of the time (quite literally). If they're supposed to be generally more powerful, just give them a high magicka cost or something. Oh well, it's far from a deal-breaker.
I get the impression that a lot of the characters could be annoying as hell. The main characters (especially the two dudes) have some serious douche potential. As long as they lay off the stupid one-liners it shouldn't be a huge problem though.
Yeah it all depends on the quality of the d-pad (looks poor) and, like you said, the deadzone. I bought that wireless Raven one and was disappointed in the deadzone and the crappy bumpers.
I find Greg to be one of the most annoying individuals on the planet. I just wish he would stop talking.
Looks pretty ugly to me.
As long as the DLC is more like Overlord/Shadow Broker and a lot less like Arrival I suppose I would agree.
@tzunoy
Yeah, a coherent argument that is not.
I want.
Considering all the articles and quotes I see reassuring fans of the glorious return of RPG elements, it better not disappoint.
The thing about ME2's plot that always bothered me was all the time and effort put into abducting humans in order to make a human reaper. What's the point? Does a human reaper really tip the scales heavily enough to justify the entire game's plot? I don't understand what makes a human reaper so important or powerful. I love ME2, but I always thought that was kind of dumb - and if the the final boss fight is any indication, it was clearly a piece of (unfinished) shite.
