Call of Duty is a guilty pleasure of mine. I probably wouldn't even have played so many if it weren't for how fun fps games are with the Wii remote and nunchuk.

While you make a fair point, GTA V is rumored to come out on PC this year, and Alan Wake is on PC as well.
I'm betting MGSV will too, since PC did get Metal Gear Rising: Revengance.
I couldn't even find Metroid on the list.
I still can't believe there hasn't been a Tim Burton Batsuit yet in any of the Arkham games. Personally, I'd rather have the Batsuit from Batman Returns over the original.

Sorry but I've tried to get kids to play Zelda games while babysitting, and even though the game has a family friendly style, they are much too difficult for the average kid.
That and games like Tropical Freeze are just downright brutal.

Gamers disagree. If you haven't been able to get over yourself and really play a Mario game, it's high time you started.
Just look up any list of Wii U exclusives.
Then add all of the best Wii exclusives(backwards compatibility) and all of the best virtual console/exclusive digital games.
It really can't be beat. And since so many "gamers" skipped the Wii, the Wii backwards compatibility is more than enough to pick this system up for.
Best controller ever. Too bad most people don't "get it."
