Ubisoft is dog shit. I used to love many of Ubisofts games, but in recent years they've just ruined everything. I borrowed Assassins Creed Odyssey the other day to give it a try, just like I did with Origins the other year, just to see if I could like it. I was kinda enjoying it to a degree but the AI was awful, it lets it down so much, it just pulls you out of the game. It was just another Ubisoft Icon collectathon, which is what Ubisoft is now, just the same shit in every game they make...

Every game has flaws, every single game.

My comment might seem a bit cryptic so I'll elaborate. I don't mind games injecting forms of sexual preference, but I don't want the game suffering because the sexual preference of a character is the focal point. It needs to be subtle, I'm straight (Does that mean CIS? I'm not sure anymore, nor do I care, which is important) but I don't want to see anything sexual or implied that has nothing to do with the story of the game I'm playing. I simply don't care, un...

It's all fun and games until it's mushed into your face like a pie contest gone wrong. Over and over again.

'You will have this pie, whether you like it or not!'

I'm part of the + Community. We like the - Community as well. I'm not a fan of the x Community as they don't tolerate the y Community, which I feel comes down to a resentment of their Axis status. I feel we should accept one another no matter which plane we belong to.

PS4 was released in November 2013 and sold 25 million by the end of July 2015 - so around 1 year 8 months.

Switch was released March 2017 and sold around 24 million approximately - 1 year and 9 months.

Sounds about level so far.

Steven Ogg who played Trevor in GTA5. One of my favourite characters in any game just because he was batshit insane, but funny with it. Steven Ogg really makes the character stand out becuase he play's him perfectly.

A few choice quotes from the 'article' -

'Right off the bat, you start off completely naked (naturally) in a dungeon. The first plan is to get your armour and exact revenge on an orc who is raping an elf.'

'Atop a hill is a lone place to stay. Although, you should heed the warnings of the manageress – unless you managed to kill the current occupants, your character does end up being raped.'

'And speaking of w...

I think she's an expert in talking bollocks, but using buzzwords to disguise the fact she's talking bollocks. 15 minutes of talking, but nothing was learnt this day.

I think you mean underrated, which I agree on. Absolutely love his games, got the platinum on Binding because I loved it so much.

But this is about overrated designers.

EDIT: Ah I see it was because of a cockup Christopher made.

No, no, no. It was awful. It was a tedious experience with some of the worst ai I've ever seen. Every minute you'd have someone driving around starting a tedious encounter that pretty much ended the same way. I got a 3rd of the way and I was bored to tears.

Just the same old bullshit gameplay loop that Ubisoft has been feeding us for years.

I'm tired of it, tired of the games and the company. I won't buy into it anymore. It's just mone...

It's amazing how it's all changed in the space of 20 years. When Half Life came out it was a breath of fresh air and everything was about giving the gamer more in the way of Story, graphics, gameplay and AI. Now it's all about making sure people are represented - story, graphics, gameplay and AI go out of the window. We must appease the minority that doesn't even buy the games but harps on about them anyway.

The world is going down the shitter.

'Perhaps but some work slave wages '

No, they don't. Some kids working in God awful factories around the world work 'slave wages' but programmers don't. They may be overworked, but there's a difference between overworked and underpaid.

'and what our flag stands for'

I'm sure they took liberties with what other people did in the war apart from the US, but ok. Some Americans really live in a bubble.

This game doesn't look like it has any of the charm of the original. It's early days, but my initial impressions from the trailer and this gameplay demo are that it looks like a big pile of Typical Ubisoft Dog Shit™.

It's a shame, but Ubisoft just continues to run their ips into the ground.

I'm glad you clarified what 'snatching the jewel from the crown' meant, because until you clarified what 'snatching the jewel from the crown' meant I didn't know what 'snatching the jewel from the crown' meant. Now I know what 'snatching the jewel from the crown' means.

No, I believe it suffered from being a terrible game. Lore and story mean nothing if it's boring to play, with some of the worst gameplay elements known to man.

The console war had nothing to do with it, it was just a steaming turd in game form. And everyone knew it except for the diehards. Which is where you come in.
