Like next gen consoles dont have streaming. Besides, why not fix the latency issues before making such claims?
Can’t wait to see what they will produce with more power. It should be intense.
@jimboms
They haven’t “admitted” anything. In fact, this is how Sony said they will do cross play. On a case by case basis. Sony simply refused to allow MS to be able to do microtransactions with PlayStation users. Essentially they said no to unfettered access to PS players and their wallets. Instead they want to allow it when it’s beneficial, and only crossplaying, not cross selling like MS was asking for.
It’s not just “good customer service” issue. In the U.S. we are treated with such vigorous customer service that we forget the people servicing us are just regular people too, when they step out of uniform they are you and me. So, the notion “customer service” tends to have different meanings to different people. For me, customer service requires acting vividly and politely, and GameStop has done that. Additionally, when I go to a game store, I expect staff that is interested in games and can...
That’s strange, I’ve yet to experience bad customer service at any GameStop. Literally.
I wasn’t taking a dig at anyone. I was just saying that it’s crazy that they actually heard and responded in such a quick time frame. Personally, I would have liked PES as well, but between these I would take Detroit.
If I remember correctly it started from 35 and 45, And it was more expensive than the others but it also offered more than the rest including local channels, live “cable” plus streaming capabilities (If that makes sense) and recording option. It was always more expensive but at the time I was investigating, it didn’t have equals if you were looking to get something with cable-like service and a very useful search system. Since then all services have gone through so many changes that I don5 th...
This is happening on all the streaming services. Heck Netflix has been raising their prices incrementally forever now. Same with Hulu.
First one was great.
Sony was actually listening to the point that they immediately responded to people. It’s crazy.
I like this.
Seems a PS5 release would be logical.
Pretty sure this thing will be as popular as this comment section. Most people who want streaming will get it from one of the proven players in gaming. Google and the upcoming Apple Arcade will be there to pick up a smart piece of this ever growing pie, but they are not major competitors.
PlayStation is the strongest brand in the world. Meaning they have more fans than others. These fans support them because of their proven track record with creating new experiences/games. They will continue to support them once streaming becomes the norm. The only thing PlayStation lacks behind these unproven competitors is capitalization, and that’s not to say that they don’t have any but that the newcomers have more. But we’ve already seen with MS that more money doesn’t necessarily win. St...
Finally a show I’m excited for.
@Eddie
Sounds like wishful thinking.
I’m not sure that’s what he was doing. Also, I think the bigger reason they are more worried for MS is because MS will be releasing in close proximity to PS5 while Nintendo will be releasing later as Switch is still relatively new.
Not sure if that’s what he was saying but essentially Nintendo is not a direct competitor because of a number of reasons, including that Nintendo is probably not releasing a console along with the start of next gen as the Switch is relatively new.
Yup, and they left other exclusives out.
I think they need to show that streaming can fix latency before claiming that they can do “impossible” things. Let’s learn to walk before we start running. Besides, it’s not like next gen consoles can’t do streaming too.
