It’s strange then because when you look at them side by side there is barely any difference.
I believe the Point Editó is making is that resolution is not everything. The graphics and attention to detail are also things that should be considered. And I agree with him. Crap still looks like crap no matter what resolution it’s in. So just because a console has stronger hardware doesn’t necessarily mean it will have better looking games.
Ex. Uncharted 4 on OG PS4 looks better than most PC games. So resolution isn’t the only thing that matters.
Yup, not much of a difference between games released on the Pro versus the X so far. At least from what we have seen.
From what we have actually seen so far the difference is minuscule, and on par with a console that came out a year later.
Umm to those of you saying the “patch” isn’t available on X, let me explain. THIS IS the x version you are seeing. The “patch” is only available on games that released prior to Xbox X’s existence. Games made with the X being in existence, will not have a “patch”.

I agree, just because Xbox has made the most recent console doesn't change the fact that MS has really not shown us enough of a reason to own one let alone to own a second one of their consoles. Ms doesn't seem to have anything justifying over $550 investment in the horizon (relatively speaking). I believe that by the time we actually see anything worthwhile coming out for the xboxX, we would also be really close to the next generation consoles.

Personally I've enjoyed being able to play VR on my PSVR, I'm sure PC 's VR is great and I know their are a couple of applications I would love to have on my PSVR (namely speech training apps) I think going forward VR is only getting more significant both in gaming and in business/entertainment/etc.. Sony is well positioned to establish itself a good section of this industry.

Yep, and it's well deserved if we are being honest. As gamers we all have our preferences in console of choice, but we should recognize a gaming oriented business model and reward it, that's what PlayStations have done for 4 generations, and it's good for gamers to recognize that and give credit where it's due, regardless of their console of choice.

This VR game was a real surprise hit with me. I'm looking forward to it. Something about the immersion into the world of a tiny animal is strangely appealing to me.

It will sell well for 3-4 months, maybe even beating the PS4, but then it will fall back behind PS4. Games are what pushes hardware past the initial novelty phase and PlayStation delivers those in spades.
I believe it will have the same enginee as I don't think it's a stand alone (could be wrong) BUT I just read it will have enhanced elements ALSO it's a new setting which means they worked on all new environments for it from scratch. So your guess is as good as mine.

Your comment almost sounds like your implying that the xboxX will necessarily get something like this just because it can do better resolution. There is more to beauty than resolution.
