You wouldn't show the game if you didn't have the game, or you were generating hype without spoiling the content.
Then the customer goes online, or into a local store and sees both versions... MS are effectively advertising for both consoles.
I was hoping for some insights into the 2 versions of GTAIV, but instead I read nothing but tired old hatred for the PS3. This isn't news, or worthy of anyones attention - it's just FUD.
I've pre-ordered both versions of GTAIV to avoid website bias. I'll be able to experience both versions first hand, and I won't need to read more crap like this article.
Whichever version feels right to me, that'll be the one I play until I'm bored.
Even if the 360 version was cheaper, which it isn't, you would still have to pay for DLC. So, contrary to what you're implying, you will have to pay more for the 360 version if you want the extra content.

WHSmith sell both for £44.99 onine.
I have a Virgin Media broadband connection in a major UK city. It's fine for my online gaming needs, but if I download more than 300mb in an evening, they throttle my speed to 1Mb. That's not even one SD divx film.
I'm sure a future broadband infrastructure will allow faster, bigger downloads. But, right now, Virgin and the other ISPs cannot handle traffic.
Oh... and I don't know why this has turned into a fanboy thread as Sony are also going to be offering download ...

"Rounge Area" lol
If Saints Row is laggy, it's nothing to do with a 30fps frame rate, it's to do with frame rate drops.
30fps locked > 60fps with drops
...if it's still up after all this time? Meanwhile, the website is enjoying hundreds of backlinks for a fake story.
If you're composing an open letter to an intelligent, if misguided and ignorant man, it's best to spell check first. And how about some paragraphs too.
The writer praises the 360's messenger keyboard, which does not come free with the console, yet criticises the PS3's requirement for a headset because... it doesn't come free with the console!
He's also using the 'copying' and 'desperate' phrases in a way that you expect in a forum, not an article. And I think it's fair to say that his opinions are based on early beta tests of Home, which has changed considerably in recent months.
A may also be worthy to note that Ka...
I had to download both versions to put my mind to rest on this subject.
When swapping between the inputs of the PS3 and the 360, it's hard to ignore the flat, lifeless ground textures on the PS3 version. On further inspection, you can see more random vegetation, and the shadows and textures on trees in the 360 are much superior too.
I have to admit, I thought they looked identical in the cave section, but move into the forest and all becomes clear. It's like they...
Because perfection in video games is subjective, the 10/10 score will always be a mark of a must-have or AAA title. It's only in the minds of a number gamers that seem to have this idea that 10 = perfection. It doesn't, and never has done.
Who cares if the next game that comes along is better, that's progression; ratings are contextual to the moment at which they were released.
As for rating games 9.75, or 9.86354... what a load of bollocks. What will happen in ...
All versions ship with rumble - whether you have a rumble controller or not doesn't change that fact.
p.s. Well done Criterion, the demo is ace.
Infinity have said before that they don't prefer one platform over the other in development. By 'best coders' they are saying that the PS3 version of COD4 wasn't an afterthought port handed to a secondary team. The best coders worked on BOTH versions.
The phrase does NOT mean they had to use their best coders to get anything out of PS3.
p.s. I've played both versions and the only difference IMHO is the noise of the console ;)
Sorry PS3 haters, the game runs beautifully in 1080p on the PS3 with better textures.

He sent a scan of his UK Driving Licence that Kotaku posted. Gaywood is also a name of a few towns in the UK too. Just because homophobic idiots on Xbox Live exist, it doesn't mean ancient surnames have to cease to exist.
Richard Gaywood should be refunded the money he paid for his account. Or at least make sure there's as much publicity about this bullshit as possible.
