I loved that this preview was focused on the gameplay and mission setup and stuff like that and not on which version looked better. Good article making it about the game and not a fanboy war.
I loved the first game and can't wait for this one!
Besides the obvious complaints from the first one, I had a problem with the sense of speed while driving in 3rd person. To truly feel the speed of the game you had to go into first person, but I hope the overall speed is put up a little so 3rd person is just as exciting.
Yeah, they got that wrong, I guess they were just looking at US numbers because Sony sold a lot more than that.
With all the people who reported this story I did not think it was going to get approved. It shouldn't have.
I think you are replying to me.
What you are saying is exactly what I said. They came out early and this was great for them in the short term to get those 9 million people to buy their product. I also said if the consoles were reliable from the beginning, I think they would have had an even bigger second year.
It helped them a lot for the two years to come out first, but now I believe it is hurting them more than benefiting. They took advantage of being the only c...
I think the lack of a hard rive for some of the consoles was just as big of a mistake as not including a hi-def drive.
For a decision based purely on sales, yes, you are right. But the sales would be more than they are today if the hardware was not faulty in the beginning. I agree with you that they would be behind if released the same year but now xbox owners are paying for the decision to come out early.
I think it worked for them in the short run but will hurt them in the end.
I agree, there are many titles that I would have included instead of some of those but you are right. People can feel how they feel.
Personally I would find it hard to put up 10 games I am most looking forward to because there are a lot more than ten.
He is a smart guy, and Everyday Shooter is amazing. Hope his next game makes it to the PSN!
Wow, I did not know it was that bad for a lot of people. Blu-ray is the only option for a ton of people.
Plus I don't know about you guys but I like to have a real copy of something.
I agree with you Vip3r. Anyone know how big the disks are?
I can't wait to get my hands on this game. It will definitely be unique. Hope they pull it off really well.
The argument is really non-existent...for a long time.
But March is the month for these games. I think we will see it March 2009, or it will get delayed to March 2010. haha
They showed the pre-rendered trailer at E3 2005 because it was not close to being presentable yet. The game came out about a year and a half after that video. It was not ready. I would think this trailer is in-game, because they have just been updating the engine.
I am really looking forward to this game and can't wait to see it. Hope it has an amazing debut!
I get about 1.3Mb per second I only pay for regular service too. I got lucky.
Of course a game won't be completely and totally bug free and hopefully devs will do what they can to make it minimal.
Every dev on earth can say what this guy said.
I can't believe they are making the new Red Faction a Third Person Shooter.
I have said from the beginning that Rockstar needs to have a co-op mode for offline and online to where you can just run around the city f*cking sh*t up. I hope they incorporate this like SR2 is. Either way GTA4 is going to destroy SR2.
Yeah, no bias at all, lol!
It worked fine for me.
