The base game and expansion go on sale all the time and doesn't stay full price for very long since a new expansion is on the horizon.
If you're stating they should reduce the price of new expansions or the sub fee, no, that's not gonna happen lmao people aren't even complaining about that. They are criticizing the same old pattern of content that releases and how it is devolving into mediocracy.
Criticism and reflection occur after the fact. The apology acknowledges the past criticisms with the new expansion and they're keeping transparency with players about it. Now that they've acknowledged it - it will be interesting to see what kind of cycle we'll get with a new expansion and I wonder if they're planning something special with beast master since they didn't mention it in the last live letter.
"angry ellie"
Unless its a fully priced, or any priced game, that still has battle passes with mundane updates like D2 has. D2 was once a paid game too with a live service model, people seem to forget that.
…..those problems have always plagued the online play of the mh series. If you want things to go 100 percent smooth get discord, link up, and start a hunt.
Uhh wasn’t this bug preventing players from continuing the story? Lol
The protagonist literally comes from a group that has dealt with discrimination. There’s literally a political election process. Racism. Government and religion.
You’re not going to get the game you think this is. They’re not “pushing” it but there’s still elements of that in the game.
If true that’s unfortunate. The game was really good. Not like game of the year or anything. But I was invested in it daily and some story moments really got to me.
I too like to look for things in the wrong places.
That's a bad take.
SMT had a niche following. So did persona. They redid persona starting with three to reach an wider audience. Nothing happened with the original SMT and have stayed the way they were. If they were to revamp that main series you could get what happened with soul hackers lol. You want that?
Oh boo hoo I had fun with it. Its not perfect but you dont have to be so dramatic over it.
And yet its one of the more enjoyable games in the series in a long time. Imagine that.
That's a little presumptuous. Sometimes a game doesn't have to be technically optimized to have fun with it. I mean I played it everyday straight from release date to today and it's great. Makes me wish there was a switch pro but I'm having fun.
When did fun stop being the major contributing factor to what makes a great game?
....The first HZD came out a month before breath of the wild. And this is hardly the first of the genre. What's going on with all these reviews thinking breath of the wild was a genre breaking game? Zelda entered the genre not create it lol.
Some of these people never used a game gear or sega nomad haha
I'm almost at disbelief with the bad timing of this article. If anything almost 24 hours ago there were confirmations the base game will be available again for sale at the end of this month.
Its more than just a little short sighted it doesn't make sense. Aspects of game AI, narrative, VR, and so forth have always been a core component in game development or something done to a much higher degree than that of accessibility. How many controllers do you see geared towards special needs gamers being sold in major electronic retailers VS a VR headset?
yeah this is one gross sale.
Wow thanks for that spoiler what the hell, it hasn't even been a week.
"____rd lord boss fight" or "______ realm's boss fight" What were you thinking?
Same, i've found my self resubbing every two patches instead of keeping it up. Don't own a home in the game so there's no point in keeping a constant sub going. The post story is getting interesting though.
