well i just ordered all of my parts for my first build just for bf3 and I'm curious as to how it might run.
i know I'm probably asking too much but here is my setup for the parts that will be here on wednesday.
4 gigs of gaming ready g.skill ddr3 ram
amd phenom 2 x4 965 black edition 3.4ghz
XFX radeon 6850 1 gb 256 bit ddr5
any feedback from anybody would be great.

no you didn't read it correctly. they are removing a voucher code to be able to play the game through the onlive cloud gaming service instead of installing in onto your pc. they are removing something you paid for. would yoiu like to go to walmart to buy a pc and them remove windows from it just so they can sell the copies of windows they have in store?
that makes me want to go to a gamestop i never go to and buy that game and open it right there and ask for the voucher if it isn't in there and raise some hell and maybe get it for 10 bucks off or something. lol
Doesn't look very interesting to me. I want to see them make a kinect game that actually competes with all the AAA games graphics. I know graphics aren't everything but that trailer shows that they can do much better than that.
Well technically the first nintendo came out in the late 70's called Color TV Game. It only came out in japan, but its still technically the first nintendo system. but it seems like 4 would be more towards the SNES timeline. so 6 would probably be more of a stable area to start being a gamer, cause i know nobody that is 4 that can even get passed a start menu without help.

I honestly don't understand why everyone is throwing out the whole ps3 is better or xbox is better on here. Same goes to wether PSN or XBL is better. This has nothing to do with the consoles. This has to do with how Microsoft and Sony work with their restrictions and terms of service. If Microsoft would just allow steam to connect with XBL then this would be better for both companies...

surprisingly i didn't realize how much of a difference there was. and at some parts of the game, there is slight differences in the way the levels are built on each system.
you would understand more if you compare the version of chaos theory on the xbox and the ps2. ps2 had a much more dummed down version of the game unfortunately.
I've been waiting almost a year for actual dlc. i hope they have been making a load of cars to add to the game. or even a update to make all the standard cars premium. the last one isn't a big deal to me but i really do hope they add some more cars instead of 10 different variations of cars like they did with practically every nissan car available.
i have no EA sports games, no call of duty games, and i don't own a wii, and i own 16 retail games. so what does that make me?
Its not as easy to get a knife kill on battlefield as you think. its not like COD with the auto aim knife jab.....

If you haven't played a battlefield game before, then you are definitely missing out. That doesn't mean go out and get BFBC 1 or 2. you need to play either 2142, 1942, vietnam, or battlefield 2 to get the true BATTLEFIELD experience. Go grab battlefield 2 complete collection for like 20 bucks if even that, and you will have a blast!

it is a neat little trick to force the ps3 to put the game in that resolution. but what happens if i have it only checked off at 1080p and play little big planet 2 that only supports up to 720p? then i have to go back and mess with the settings again just to get a hd resolution out of that game. better off just dealing with its native supported resolution.

yeah they are scared to buy something that costs that much when honestly it is barely worth that. 250 is a great deal for what it has.
