It looks like they updated the lighting and textures. One of those screens has a comparison of Fallout 3 and New Vegas and the Super Mutant's textures looks much better now.

Dead Space was a really well done port. And they complain about GTA4s demanding requirements, but when you have the PC and console version side-by-side, you can tell that there is a HUGE difference in draw distance, shadows, sharpness (no more jaggy-ass depth of field), pretty much everything looks miles better than it does on the console.
Thank you for making the game much easier to kill people! I used to get 2 kills and 15 deaths, but now I have 15 kills and 15 deaths! Thank you Naughty Dog for not letting the players who can play better kill us anymore!

Seriously, this patch is lame. Now the whole multiplayer segment is very noob-friendly. I used to be about 2x the score of the second top player on my team (I was usually top player). Now guess what? Everyone gets the same amount of kill...
It was one extremely small part of the game cut out. It had NOTHING to do with the story, it was just a fun little side-thing you could do. All these people who refuse to buy it now don't realize this.

And to answer the units sold, it was released in November 2007, by February 2008 it had sold over 1 million, but I know...
It didn't really come out of nowhere. It was announced a long time ago (2006, 2007?), disappeared, then came back near the end of last year. And I don't think it's gonna be anything like Fallout 3, this is being made by ex-STALKER devs, so if anything it'll play like STALKER Shadows of Chernobyl, which is miles better than Fallout 3, and not anywhere near the same style of game.
I'm happy about this, I only have about 3GB left lol.

Alot better than Clear Sky (but which isn't as bad as everyone says), I can't believe they complain about bugs and the graphics. This is the most bug-free STALKER game yet, and the graphics look really damn good maxed out (which obviously they can't if they think it looks bad). The lighting is some of the best in any game.
Guys, the reason this is selling so well is mainly because of the reputation of AVP2 on PC, which happened to be in my opinion one of the BEST fps games ever made, both single-player and multiplayer. Nearly EVERY person I know from that game bought the new one.
I know this is a 3 day old post, but the above comment was just so STUPID that I have to do this...
"are you serious? lol.. just because your monitor has a full HD 1080p resolution doesnt mean the game is full 1080P, only that its upscaled to that resolution.. aka what the 360 does with there 640p games.. the console just up-scales them..
the game must be published graphically in 1080p for you to actually be playing it in full 1080p otherwise its only being...
They really dumbed it down for consoles, no crouch, wall crawling as alien isn't as easy as it was in avp2 where you just held shift, and some other annoying things. It's not a bad game though, good graphics too. IMO it should have just been for PC, since that's where most of the fans of the original games are.

I'm sorry but controller controls are terrible. (No, I don't think controllers are really bad, but pretty much everyone who is used to both can agree that mouse and keyboard allows for much better and more accurate controls than a controller... except for this guy)
Actually from what I can tell, the loading times seem to get longer after every patch. I swear it didn't take so long when the game was launched.
And we have to pay for it, even though it was supposed to be in the game. And they tried to cover it up in the story by saying the memories were corrupted.

Have you even played it on PC? It was really damn good. The Xbox version was terrible, they had to literally cut out nearly half the game's areas and narrow them down to fit it and make it run smoothly on Xbox. Many of the parts you see as cutscenes on the Xbox version are gameplay and segments on the PC.
