This is what you get out of a “private press demo”. I don’t know how much more proof is needed that this press model is outdated and irrelevant. Just show the fans your demo.

I don’t understand why people like this get the privilege to see the demo while the CDPR fans like myself are hung out to dry. I would have bought this game blind based on my love for Witcher 3 alone.

What are they scared of? Why do they insist on letting individuals like this be our only source of information? I could not care less about their interpretation, I want to see the demo.

Awkward how? That was a great answer to a stupid and irrelevant question.

So is this a “part1” kind of game? I think I remember them saying it was broken up into parts. I have never played this game but I heard it’s the best FF and wanted to try it. I don’t want to pay 60 dollars for part 1 of a game though.

I really liked the Nintendo direct this year. I probably won’t buy many of the games shown but I thought they looked good and were presented well. I could see why somebody else would like them.

I really liked Luigi’s mansion, that dark crystal tactics game and empire of sin. I have exhausted witcher 3 already on PS4 but it’s cool that it made it to switch. The collections like contra looked cool too.

Fake or not doesn’t make it any less impressive. Have you seen anything like that on consoles yet?

Physics I guess. That level of foliage let alone moving foliage has only been possible on PC before this gen. And to have it going all of the time as a part of your art aesthetic. A lot of console games these days still suffer for stability.

I dont get why they choose to let incompetent people explain their experience behind closed doors opposed to showing their fan base what they are working on. That’s our treat? Hearing polygon describe what went on? That model is outdated imo, skip the press and go right to your consumers.

Behind closed doors why?

“Again that's wrong. A state can indeed classify anything they want. Whether it's constitutional is something for the courts to decide. If a state can make a case that they consider something gambling, based on criteria already established, then they can classify it as gambling.”
How am I wrong? That’s exactly what I said, they could try lol. Based on the criteria already established? There is no case then. That’s the point.

Yup and people aren’t going to stop buying them. That’s just the reality of it and I can understand trying to find some legal way to end them but the arguments sound desperate and sleazy. Changing the standard to get your end game like you got a game genie lol. Economically we can’t fight the MT consumers equally. But we can prop up other practices and reward the alternatives which I would advocate as a realistic solution.

Not exactly true. Well, a State could try I guess. Then try (and fail) to provide the courts and EA with a sufficient enough reason as to why they classified it as such. You can’t single out things for aesthetic purposes and baseless claims. You would have to include everything like it. Banning something that doesn’t break any laws is a slippery slope and it doesn’t have the infectious nature that you think it does. For example here is my state.

One state can’t classify loot boxes as gambling though. A state can choose to legalize or criminalize gambling, sure. They don’t make up their own rules though. Hawaii didn’t classify them as gambling or ban them either. EA has nothing to be scared of here, there is no way to the outcome you want without changing the gambling standards. And to include loot boxes into the standards classifies so many other harmless things as gambling. It’s a dumb pointless fight, it’s media theatre.

LOL this is obvious stuff here, what are people getting worked up about? They don’t care about a couple countries laws. The laws of other countries (bigger market countries) don’t have those laws. The money they made in MTs covered those countries easily.

Good to see that the lootbox outrage is crippling them lol... Keep up the good fight revolutionaries, I’m sure the gaming media will continue to let you believe you are making a difference.

100 vs 100.. or whatever tops the player count number out there. That’s the only way “unprecedented” makes sense to me.

The tethering seems like a odd choice. It’s a survival sim game. There’s no story or boss fights. Why would you need to tethered? The article says for performance reasons. They make it sound like they are a small studio (they are) with no resources for net code. If so Microsoft needs to step up.

If it’s better than witcher 3 then I’m already sold. I want to see this, a new bioshock, biomutant, a Mortal Kombat. I’m hyped.
