Pretty neat intro. Now let's see some gameplay please.
I have already given up on the PC version. It does look amazing, but the gameplay mechanics and combat and crafting system is unforgivable. It's best to just move along and not bother with this title.
$10 says it's on disc DLC. More ways for M$ to rope money in. And you Halo fanboys will download it in droves. Fail!
I'm a sucker for collectors editions :-)
I would buy it to support Valve on PS3. I hope they revisit the Orange Box with updates to TF2 and gameplay improvements.
So well said!
So glad I canceled my pre-order for this game. With the support issues and with last weeks removal of the title 'Taliban' This game wreaks of issues. I'll just hold out for Black Ops. EA/Dice you guys really need to get back on the ball here.
Good Work Bungie. Now make a PS3 game please :-)
Who cares!
It should be 200$ here not 250$. 250$ is a lot of money to ask for a handheld. The PSP had a heck of a time selling for that price. Granted it's Nintendo, but they might be overstepping their money card here.
Meal of Honor will have a good showing at first but will really drop off once COD hits. Much like the fanfare that BC2 had for it's first month of release.
I enjoyed the demo, but based on how the gameplay and movement works. It's going to offer very little in re-play value. I cannot see myself paying $60US for this. I think when it drops down to either 30$ or 40$ I will check it out then.
I picked up the Xbox, DOA, Halo, and SSX with a second controller. I forgot how much it cost but it was no $699. I even picked it up from EB as a bundle, but ugggh. wish I could remember how much I spent on it. that xbox still works in fact!
*shamble* urrrrrrr *shamble* hmmmmm *shamble* zooommbies... yay... :-)
News vs. Opinion
I would like news on items not personal views and insights.
Okay the motion detect camera technology is COOL. I will not dis that. However the console is getting long in the tooth and losing appeal overall.
The price will not change, and people will buy it like hot cakes. M$ has the pulse of the market right now, and they can do no wrong. I'm surprised they didn't charge 200$ out of the gate for it.
There should be community support or dedicated servers or host server abilities for some of these game to continue life down the road. Does anyone remember the game Shogo? Well let's say 10 to 20 of you folks out there remember that game, and suddenly want to pop online and play it. You install it, you look for whatever the newest patch is, and then you pop online and create a room, MAYBE you'll get some folks to play with you.
As for console games, the whole 'server...
Well shame on everyone who bought the game. You all should have known it was going to be lame from the get go. How much fun can a driving mmo be? uhm.... remember Auto Assault??
Hack your own consoles, figured out how those hacks work, and push updates to cause the hacked consoles to not work... Problem solved.
