I dont see why he would go back to working under a publisher. He has already made a name for himself and surely has the funding to do what he wants.
Soooo in this ad free, f2p game...the devs are supposed to support themselves how again?
They could literally keep the model exactly like they have it and still make an astronomical amount of profit.
Is the only way to gain loot boxes is to level up? If so then yeah, clearly designed around the addition of MTs.
Blizzard isn't immune to this just because they've had success in the past.
Calling it now, Holy Cow! spam.
For those that dont know, the guys from GT (bosman, jones, huber, etc...) have moved on to create Easy Allies on youtube. If you miss GT check them out there.
Admittingly only having seen footage of Battleborn and played only 2 matches of Overwatch, Id argue its impossible to even compare the two. They seem pretty vastly different in terms of how they play. Aside from having characters and being in first person, everything else is different.
Just saying, it would be nice if the title didnt include what some of the easter eggs are about. Just call it Uncharted 4: Easter Egg guide. As it is, its half spoilerish.
Exactly, registered is not average concurrent which is the true test of how well an online game is doing. Im in the same boat as you Aenea. As soon as I beat the first raid I uninstalled and haven't looked back.
Get out of my head! I came here to say exactly this. People keep trying to tell me that its just "weighty". Its not weighty...its flat out not responsive. Bloodborne is weighty.
Dont get me started on how uninspired and bland the environments and just art style in general are. You can tell this game started its life almost a decade ago.
"I would rather see Evolution regain their independence...A deal with a large publisher like Activision or EA would be ideal"

IMO, at least the horse armor was the kind of DLC you can look at on the store and think "I dont need this to complete the base game I purchased." It was what DLC should be, flashy extras.
I hope you just mean going to all the points of interest and not fully exploring the entire planet. They are "planet sized planets", you'd never get off your first one :P
For me personally Id say yes. When I look at what games Ive been playing and enjoying the most, they are indie. Don't get me wrong I play the occasional AAA title (Bloodborne atm) but they have to realllllly be appealing in order for me to chip out 60 dollars for them.
The difference is DE cares about its player base and its game. And it shows with the amount of content they add to the game with every update...for free.
Not officially...it really only happens on the main menu screen. The work around for it right now is to just pan the camera down so you are looking straight down at your car. They have a patch going to certification soon though I believe.
The short matches are certainly playing in the games favor. You dont have a chance to get bored.
It is the last content update for this season pass. But not the last overall game update, they will continue to make improvements to the game and its features. I see them making a Season 2 pass for more DLC after this one.
Unfortunately all the lost sales to gamers like us will mean nothing to them because they will easily make more money off stupid whales.
