Nintendo:
- Keep their game budgets in check (read: no insane marketing push or bullshit CG movie trailers like every other AAA publisher)
- Don't release buggy, monetized slop
- Give their core audience more of what they want
- Use sales windfalls from legacy franchises (Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, etc.) to fund smaller-audience and experimental new IPs (Bayonetta, Metroid, Xenoblade, Astral Chain, etc.) and still make a profit

Wait a year, get the game complete with all bugs worked out and at a discount when the first Steam sale drops. PC all the way. Honestly, there's no point in owning a PS5/Xbox if you can afford to build a decent rig,
I do like how Xbox BC makes some older 360 titles play at 4K/60 fps however...

IF there is another Xbox console, Microsoft need to keep it simple:
- ONE PLATFORM. Easier for developers to focus on instead of wasting valuable resources “optimizing” their games (read: dumbing them down). If they insist on offering a “digital” version, then offer double the amount of storage.
- A SIMPLE, UNIQUE, AND EASY-TO REMEMBER-NAME. Xbox Ninja or Xbox Dreamweaver or whatever is easier to say in conversations than “Series ____”.

Nintendo has killed a lot of the goodwill they built up with the Switch. I'm not even sure I'm going to keep my console pre-order. I'm cancelling all of the games I pre-ordered because Game Key cards are fucking bullshit. Right now, I have to decide if it's worth keeping just to be able play my old Switch games in better quality and performance (for a nominal fee, of course).
