And they do. My pc is connected to my TV, booting straight to steam big picture. I got plenty of non steam games set up as shortcuts. Can origin or uplay or ms store give me that functionality? I think they're doing a good job to be honest.

3 years later sell the gpu and upgrade, the rest if you've bought smartly will see you through 3 gpus.
There are people out there running clocked i5's/7's from 2011 that wouldn't bottleneck a 1080
And the games look better and care cheaper
Over that amount of time its both cheaper to game on PC and enjoy a abetter experience than consol...

Steams hardware survey put the 970 as the most popular card. Roughly same power as ps4 pro. 1080 is 12th which would destroy either console
