Yep, I remember. I didn't have the luxury of a hdtv but used that adapter, forget what it was called to get a vga output with audio going via optical.
I was a PC gamer before OG xbox, but the thing came with a custom GeForce gpu that wasted my voodoo5500, so went back to console for a few years. Went 360 but after a few RRODs went PS3. cant defend that too much either quality wise, has 2 ylod's.

I'm not knocking the x1x, its really good value seeing as for the first time in a long while its sporting a mid gen spec gpu. However, lets say its a match for 1070/980ti/furyx - then seeing as you can pick up one of those gpus for between $200-300 if you shop round, the rest of the pc rig isn't going to cost $700. At least not if you buy clever

I agree. As a neutral, I think MS pipped it for me, sonys exclusives are nothing special and I like a good hardware launch. Do like the looks of Anthem though

It saddened me to see that off the back of sony fans laughing at a digital service from MS, they effectively dropped it. This is a great example of them holding things back. Believe me, sony might have used that as marketing purposes back then, but mark my words they will be digital only within a couple of generations, and yes that probably means subscription streaming services

they are holding things back by penny pinching on hardware. Yes M$ was guilty of this too, both OG xbone and ps4 were based on LOW END pc graphics arch.
Arguably the Pro upgrade was again based on gpu hardware the same sort of level, IE LOW
