Well they need to go hand in hand today. GTA, The Witcher, Skyrim and more would not have the gamer as immersed or emotionally vested if the games were 8bit. That's just a fact. When it starts to look more "real" it starts to draw you in more. Besides what the hell is all this about graphics over story? Since when can't you not have both? Uncharted. TLOU, Shenmue (for its time) and so many more proved you can look great and have good gameplay.
Actually it's not the same dance move. You have to be 100% exact. He slides his feet the game does not. He keeps left arm still the game does not. Also you're telling me no one in over 100 years has never moved their arms like that dancing until this guy did? He's a nobody looking for fame.
Almost all games today with character building are action rpg. Do you mean turn based rpg from yesteryear? Everything is technically an RPG as you are playing the role of something or another.
E3 is done. It was supposed to be moved last year. More and more companies are leaving and with Sony now leaving it will be worse. People need to chill out it doesn't spell doom for Sony not being at E3. It's expensive for them to be there. Nintendo has a fun area at E3 but 5-9 hour wait to play 1 game. Well they said no E3 presence but not E3 Conference.
Probably that's how its been for years. It upgrades as time goes on. Of course it's going to be a beast. They have to 1 up the X. And GPU cards and chips are getting better and cheaper.

E3 is not the reason the PS4 was a success. Also i have attended E3 for over 12 years and it sucks now. It's overcrowded and more and more companies are leaving. Sony had a weak showing at E3 for past 3 years. Their section on the floor was basically for Media or you have to wait 4 hours to play a demo. This makes sense for Sony to not spend so much money on a floor display. They could however have a conference.
It's a good deal for sure. But most people already have an S. If they offered $200-250 trade in value and had this price I'd buy right away.

Can't wait to play it at the same resolution and frame rate on PC but get visual upgrades through mods later. Don't have the X yet so PC it is.
Ya only problem with the higher taxes of other countries is that they actually give you something for your money. Better public transport, Free healthcare, Education and more. USA is all about profit and healthcare and education is a business. Especially for the right. I'll pay higher taxes all day if i get a bullet train, private toll roads and more here in Cali.

I don't think the critics are coming down on Rockstar for allowing this to happen. It's stupid people putting up videos of just killing woman talking about woman's rights. Killing NPC's is never an issue. You can ignore most of the NPC's. If you went around killing ALL NPC then that's just having some fun. If you went around and only killed the black NPC's and dragged them around behind your horse you can guarantee the internet would come after you.
I live in US and if the UK is a nanny country well, The US needs to learn from them. They are leaps and bounds ahead of us in jobs, education and health care. Hell even safety. Anothe rmass shooting in the U.S this time 30 miles from my home. When it comes to media like TV, Movies and games people need to lighten up and remember it's fake.
There are no videos specifically created killing only men of other races. If i made a video and i went to Saint Denis East Side (All Black) and i started lassoing folks and dragging them one by one and killing them saying i'm killing annoying blacks, you can bet your ass i would be banned and have a ton of people attacking me for it. So this person should of made a video of him doing that to all NPC around the world not just one attacking women.
It's definitely to each their own but the game is a masterpiece in its own right. For an open world game set in the past they did a great job. Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be great but not in same league/category as RDR2 as it's looking to be more fast paced and something more players will welcome with it's future setting and high tech guns and features.
But it has to be slow. It's the west. Rockstar did do something great, twice! This game works being slow and realistic. It's GTA fans that can't understand people over 130 years ago didn't travel at 130MPH or Fly! No other Open World RPG style games are getting as much grief as RDR2. Where were all the articles about the Witcher, Skyrim and ESO being tedious and boring? Unless i'm mistaken Geralt got around on a horse not a Lambo.
I enjoy jumping off my horse and sitting in a random NPC camp. But most people don't want that. They want to rush right through at a fast pace. I like the slow to fast pace of the game. If you were a huge fan of Shenmue as i am, then this is for you.
That list was meh. Most is the same that plagues a lot of games. The bounty system was bad until i figured out you need to not be seen! And change your outfit. All this talk of slow pace and you want to sit at a camp fire and listen to NPC tell stories? It's not for everyone. And those who it's for love it.
Not as good as I was hoping. $170 last year. With next consoles coming in 2 years or so you'd think they would lower sub $200 to push more.

You can't bring up games from the 70s. Those games were not made to look that way because they were going for a certain style. They were that simple graphically because that's all that tech was capable of. In the end it's the graphics that get your attention and the story draws you in. What's the point of the evolution of technology if we're not going to take advantage of it. Who needs PS5 when you can just get an Atari 2600 or NES and play old ...
