That's what Google said it would do when first announced. Not what i think it will do.
Most are missing the point of Stadia. It isn't to drop your Xbox or PS4. To me it's about not having to buy a game for both platforms to just play with friends who do not wish to own both consoles. This way, If it's true what google says, you will be able to cross play with both consoles and only need to buy 1 copy of the game for your desired platform. That's a win if true and why i am getting Stadia.
isn't that what the Xbox Digital is all about? Isn't it true that you cannot watch Netflix or enjoy any online activities without paid subscription to Live? And with more gamers only wanting Royale games and FPS multi, gaming is already "online" only.
It will not be easy to build a Stadia compatible device unless Google Allows it. That would take some hacking to run off Googles servers with your home made kit.
Rivalry creates competition and pushes companies to develop great games and push boundaries. Without competition there would be little choice.
Depends. You're comparing a new game price to this. If these can be hacked to add more games then yes this is a good deal. Otherwise you would need a hell of a lot of space since each cabinet barely carries 4 games. As cool as these are, I can't justify $300 to play street fighter here and there. Maybe buy just the cabinet and place a Raspberry Pi in it.
Played it. It was good. I'll buy it but the camera seemed dated and got in the way a lot. Super annoying. The graphics aren't spectacular though.
Played FF7 at E3. They were not giving anything out to anyone. Probably for the best. Maybe Media.
The character models could be better. But in no way should they look like the movie stars. I like how so-called Marvel fans are complaining the characters don't look like real movie stars. Well the movie stars don't look like the comic. "Iron man doesn't sound like RDJ" Well RDJ sounds nothing like the animated series preceding his work. SMH
Not exactly the same situation. The Vita and PS4 are completely different hardware. This is just a different store to access. Your situation would be if they said all PC will now be Apple OS only.
The problem is MS lacks the excitement of First Party that Sony has. I was looking forward to the conference and was let down. A lot of Indie and just showing more of what we knew. As well as most games being multi plat. Scarlett was a waste of time. At least show a tech demo, anything to show the power and excite people. I need a reason from MS to put down my PS4 controller and play my Xbox for other than Forza and State of Decay.
Aren't all games run of the mill? Nothing is really original. And this idea that it's uncharted or tomb raider with star wars skin is ridiculous. So now any game that has a character climb a wall is lame and copying uncharted?
You're missing the point of the sheep. in this case SW fanboys are the sheep coming together to hate any game that isn't Lucas cinema quality. The game looks fun. And if it provides even 20 hours of SP entertainment then it's a success to an actual gamer. Battlefront was popular because it went after the COD no story FPS crowd.
Of course not. But this hate for something that is still in development is getting old. Wait to see more. This is EA hate getting in the way of a possibly good game. No matter which developer gets their hands on the license, they will be met with SW fanboy hate.
Yup. My second playthrough for Shenmue 1 18 years ago I walked for almost the entire first half. Nice to relax and actually explore sometimes.
When i sign in on the 7th i better see the deals promised. This is looking weak. What happened to the Days Gone $19.99 deal? Bastard media with their pants on fire.
Not sure why it's that price. So many articles said it was going to be $19.99
Weak. Not a good sale at all. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is $10 more than it's been for months.
They aren't stealing crap from MS. Sony saying PS5 will do this or that in little tidbits while MS is going to show off something bigger...ya this E3 belongs to MS. Sony could of released 40 minutes of trailers without having to put together an expensive conference. The problem is Sony doesn't have anything to show that they already haven't. We saw gameplay for almost all Sony exclusives last year. Leaving us nothing to look forward to except PS5.
Google isn't saying that everyone will stream in 4k. Most people don't even have a proper 4k tv or monitor. Streaming on Stadia @ 1080p should be fine if frame rate is high. 1440p would be nice as well.
