I would have fun reading the over reaction of people on N4G if sony ddin't reveal the PS4 on the 20th.
Ubisoft have been jerks since they introduced always online DRM.
The specs don't say anything because joe public don't have a clue what the real specs are yet. The specs that people think they know are just rumoured specs.
They are already low end pcs that arent upgradeable
People are still taking the specs as gospel even though nobody but microsoft and sony know. I am enjoying the show watching the fans though.
I think it would be a good idea if the next consoles were upgradeable. That way lets say in five years time Microsoft and Sony brought out a cartridge type thing with a Graphics card upgrade that just slots into the console to enable better graphics and have a crossfire or sli type of setup where the GPU's work together.
Lets just say it was a single cartridge upgrade to slot into the console with just the one hardware upgrade in five years then in ten years they could br...
You dont know if it will be noticably different when you havent seen the game.
Or maybe Microsoft and Sony join together to make the playbox or Xstation
Whats Ironic is Console gamers bashing on PC games saying how much Console games look better but as soon as a PC gamer says their PC games look better the Disagree monsters come out to play and console gamers go all superior on the PC gamer. Console gamers are just as bad as PC gamers at the mine is far superior to yours.
I dont mind if the console requires online all the time. The thing that would hack me off is if the games are unplayable if my internet goes down for a few hours or days and if my game wont save if its playable offline but my internet goes down. If thats the case They can keep their console.
People are assuming its the PS4 but the way I look at it is if they dont announce the PS4 then I dont care because I'm not getting hyped about nor am I expecting it. That way I am not setting myself up for dissapointment.
I cant wait to see what Microsoft and Sony bring to us.
Some people buy both so that they can have the titles that wont be on both consoles. I bought an Xbox 360 for Forza games and I have a PS3 for GT5.
No matter how much you try to justify paying for Xbox live it will never be the right thing to do. I am already paying to use the internet and I am not going to pay another fee to go online on a console. Also its not only paying to go online. in forza if you buy the VIP version of the game and Turn 10 gifts you a car you cant get that car if your not an Xbox gold member.
Worst part is people approve the stupid articles. I wish the Articles that compare consoles against each other or Consoles vs PC. They are just fanboy bait and ripe for arguments.
Have you been ignoring the rumours of the Next console spec news articles. I shouldnt have to spell it out for you when the rumours are plastered all over N4G with the past few weeks , but just for you its an eight core CPU. That doesnt matter though because its supposed to be 1.6GHz which is very poor.
To those who disagreed you havent a clue what you are disagreeing to.
Theres lots of news articles on N4g pointing that its a 1.6GHz CPU. I had a laptop last year brand new with a 1.4GHz AMD CPU and proper GPU and 4GB of DDR3 rambut the laptop struggled to even play facebook games so I traded it in for this Core i5 quad core laptop.
The Nvidia GTX680 is 15x more powerful thancurrent consoles so I cant see why the xbox 720 and PS4 cant be 10x more powerful.
I'm pretty sure that if GTA5 is going to be a next gen game then the consoles will need to be available to buy. Otherwise it will be a next gen console game that cant be played because theres no hardware to play it on.
You mean at E3. Nobody is really doubting a reveal at E3.
