I can't agree with ya'll that this trailer was good. The whole stage and everything felt like it was stuck and setup on monorail tracks. Compare the feeling of the enviroment in this trailer to farcry 2's enviroment and this feels very unrealistic and fake. (much like a hollywood movie's backdrop).
Im sure that R2 will be freaking awesome but this trailer sucked monkey balls imo.
I think it's a very mediocre game. Star wars tunes mixed with Unreal gameplay is not very good imo. Go figure that Lucas art has something to do with this...

As in the generation of consoles before PS3, 360 and Wii. Of course im talking about the xbox the PS2 and the gamecube. The PS2 had loads of games which required you to switch disks and therefor I think it's a very last gen'ish feature to have.

Sadly this is where the mandatory installs on the PS3 comes in handy...
But on an second note, they could do like the developers of Uncharted and made the game cache data to the HDD while playing to help the streaming of textures and what not. Too bad that ID software is not that advanced when it comes to developing for the PS3 for them to do this.
This game was on the doubt list before this turn of event, now it's pretty much off radar for me atleast.
To think that they wanted to have 5-6 wastelands and ended up with 2 is a huge blow to both the story and lenght of overall gameplay. I sure hope farcry 2 comes out as it "should" or else I'll be sticking to LBP for my creation addiction.

If LBP is as good as everyone says it is, i'll be surprised if I even notice that R2 and Gears of war 2 has been released. LBP is the game that me, my gf and all of my friends are looking forward to the most this year =) Unlimited replayability ftw!

Souja Boy has 60 hours logged on Madden 09 this week, 30 hours logged on Halo 3 and then when he found out that there was a game called braid he tought to himself: "WTF is this braid shiat, probably rastafariens with uzis and shiat."

Jenzo you have no idea what your talking about. You don't know if resistance 2's multiplayer is worse than Gears 2. No one does untill both games are released and even then people will still not feel the same about them.
