Yeah, this game didn't quite have the hype behind it as the new Arkham Knight reveal.
That's the best analogy I've heard yet about cell games.
I know right, X1 and PS4 are both selling better than the launch of their last Gen counterparts, and yet here we go again....
In all reality though, unless there is a Major Coup in how gaming is played in homes, there will always be consoles. And thank god for it. Cell phone and flash games suck.
Steam games do that very thing. Thief was 10% off as a preorder, full price after it dropped. Seems like they do that with quite a few new games. Didnt happen with Stick of Truth though :(
It would be worth it just to gift this to a couple buddies on April Fools.
Staggering prices seems....greasy. Even less of a reason to jump to next-gen(current Gen) with these games.
PC for me anyways when it drops this summer.

The Sony Personal 3D viewer was around $1000. Once they add in Dev costs and head-tracking, I wouldnt be surprised if the PS4 VR Headset gets pretty pricey.
But its the perfect timing after Arkham City.

A price cut after 3 months has never been done on a console. Let alone such an expensive console. And plus the PR disaster that is Microsoft, they need loyal fans more than ever. And they lost one here.
I see it as a dick-move to early adopters like myself. A free game would have been nice as a thank you. Maybe even unlocking the full Killer Instinct. Something.

Apparently the Valve VR is even better than the Rift. Looks like VR is stepping it up in a big way. Cant wait to see the differences in the 2 models.
