Little big planet never pushed units of the ps3 or psp upon launch. Uncharted did.
Option A : you were an early adopter, you get 20 free games, cool
Option B: The price is lowered so people who didnt want one before now do. Cool
Option C: You let your consumers credit card info get hacked, You cant fix. You give out 2 free games as some crappy consolation that you now have to cancel your credit card or risk being robbed.
