Square doesnt need extra money. They are on pace to have the biggest fiscal year since 2009 when they had there biggest profit period ever. The japanese games they have right now will all sell well ( and thats just announced stuff)
And why would they notify sony? It has nothing to do with them.
It would actually be the dumbest thing they could do (make it multiplat). Increase costs, for a minimal gain.
