With the right advertising, it can sell well. Look at Battlefield...They only sold about 5 million copies of their previous game (within a reasonable time, now it's a total of ~10million) but with the right advertising they were able to sell more than 17million in less than a year.
Millions of people know Valve and Steam...all it takes is to advertise to them through the internet, and advertise a bit on television.
No...just no.
No, you can literally beat this game by button mashing and aiming kratos in the direction of the enemy...and with basic dodging skills for boss fights. On all modes.
Needs more button mashing
Processing costs have gone down at a rate we couldn't imagine 4 years ago...memory 3 years ago...try about $50 a gig...now you can get 4GB for $50....therefore the title has made me rate this article a 0/10 due to stupidity and not knowing the market at all.
It's not graphic, you see bewbs and nothing else...it's not taking it too far. Had a discussion about this the other day, and everyone (5 or 6 of us) agreed that the sex scene is nothing too extreme...in fact it could have gone a bit further and be okay.
No one will forget Captain Price or Soap....Also we won't miss Ezio.
It's not next gen at all. It's just a product with a step further into interactive gaming.
For as low as the sales are for the Vita...the issues aren't the price, the games, or anything about it really. It's actually a very simplistic answer, more simple than just "the price is too high"...but the answer is more of the thought that people don't want this product to begin with.
Complexed handheld systems aren't "Flashy" anymore to us, the PSP was nice, but soon after launch we were all just kind of in a state of mind that it was j...
Counter Strike doesn't have lag issues, BF3 doesn't have lag issues, Quake doesn't have lag issues, COD 1, 2, 4, MW2, BOps and MW3 doesn't have lag issues....When everyone is complaining of lag issues in a game....it's a lag issue. When people with crappy internet complain of lag issues, it's their internet, not the game.
The title is a little misleading...the expectations weren't "destroyed" they were actually very accurate. Just putting in my 2 cents on it, but other than that just another black ops 2 hype article.
Pretty poor article, just screenshots with descriptions...no talk about the game from the writers perspective. Stop getting lazy writers! Do something!
I like this kind of article, even though I think could write something that is more unique like characters from separate games...it's these articles I really like enjoy reading.
The main reason is because through the agreement of buying a video game you have no knowledge that it is "not allowed" to be bought if the seller sold it to you.
The reasoning it's lived this long is just because it's kind of made it's own legacy since CE came out. The campaign was great, and it's multiplayer was the first decent one that got a lot of attention for the original Xbox...Halo 2 only made it grow more with a equal or better story, and it's multiplayer was a huge success. Halo 3 being it's first downfall and Halo Reach not helping at all...Halo 4 is just kind of it's comeback...a lot of people stopped playing Ha...
In the gaming community (especially on Xbox) we use or at least hear the phrases "retard" "*insert sexual insult here*" "scrub" "noob" "*insert autism insult*" and sometimes they can get very creative...some of them even use statements like "I hope you die of cancer" or "I hope you burn in hell" just because someone killed them in a game...now the statement

The ending makes him sound like he's a fanboy trying to not sound like a fanboy.
Myself though after watching this I am a lot more excited for Halo. I've always been a person to play Halo for competition purposes. But since Halo 3 I have been interested in the campaign, and went through all 3 of them. Probably going to pick this up just because it looks like a completely redone Halo game in the best ways
COD will never have a competition unless an unknown game comes in and blows COD away. It could already be being made, we may have already heard about it...but none of the current game/game series will take away the sales numbers to impact COD negatively in sales. Until a COD game sells less 19,000,000 copies...then we know there isn't another game taking numbers away. So far BO2 has an estimated of 4.5 million (these numbers were taken a week ago, and source could not provide credentials ...
I know you're not comparing the 2 entirely on shadows...but shadow quality is probably the least of any persons concern when it comes to graphics if it's the only plus side on that side of the competition.
John is rarely wrong when it comes to the technology side of the video game world. He's constantly working on the newest graphical games, and even making it himself (it's been a few years since, but he's more than just up to date on it)....hopefully not many games will do this 30fps crap though
