The price point of a newly released console will be extremely high + premium priced games & controllers until they become older like the 7 year ones we have now.

It's not that much different than when the PC gets a console port , it's how much the developer utilises the hardware available.
I'f you don't have access to a PC, then yes defiantly :D, you get half-life 2 + the 2 episodes aswell , which will take you a good 20 hours + to get through all that awesomeness , dam I want to play it now.
The original half-life should run on anything in the last 10 years I imagine , so there's always that route , was also ported to the PS2 & Dreamcast I believe , not sure if it's on psn or not.

Excellent game , still a little mythed by the ending but was good none the less.
Required a little tweaking to get it to my taste such as low field of view and the lowest in game sensitivity and mouse acceleration was awful:

Yes because that makes things so much harder : / , Counter-Strike doesn't have these things , turning a game into a piano session doesn't automatically make it skillful (WoW for example) , not saying it will be good either , hope it is xD
