Not that much , most modern systems compensate greatly.
Even so it's common for people to shut most background tasks down before launching a game if the system can't handle it , but that seems to be a thing of the past.

Blizzard needs to bring back LAN options for their games , this would make everyone happy and still be separate option from the main Online portion of game.

Also they could just have an offline mode where anything you loot is not able to be auctioned off , but doesn't that just ruin the spirit of the game if half of the community went offline all the time ?

I don't understand , that is like Microsoft charging for automatic updates on Windows 7 , I have PS+ myself and imo that part should be available to all users.

Should do well by the end of the year , it was number 1 on steam for almost 2 weeks , only things to take a brief place in front were special offers , which ain't bad when MP3 is a full priced game atm.
