Indeed , also looking at origin they want £39.99 for the premium pack which makes more sense than £12 for one map pack , but still a steep amount of cash when the game was £10 cheaper than the premium pack (on PC at least) and probably equal price to the console version, same price as a full game is just insane imo.

I agree at a glance it seems wierd , it's easier to look at examples , best one off the top of my head would be Comparing Modern Warfare 1 to Modern Warfare 2 on the PC to see a blatant console cash in by Activison.

£300 rig that plays BF3 decently , not bad at all , would make an excellent addition a TV setup or Monitor anyone has lying around and looking to play this gen games.

Games seem to get targeted and treated more harshly sometimes , not particularly fair but when you have ass hats like that Jack Thompson causing a fuss , it's no surprise.
If Crystal Dynamics give into this social media bull crap and cut out what will essentially be one of the reasons to make you give a dam about the character and want to survive the entire game ... then I will not buy it.
The variety in PC gaming is fantastic that's for sure and there has definatly been a rise in it's popularity with the likes of Steams and GoG , BF3 is awesome on PC too but origin has to go :O

It is if its done badly , good companies make sure it stays true to purpose.

Nice to hear an ATI user enjoyed this , i couldn't maintain 60fps would stutter to 40 then shoot back up for no reason , gonna give it another go as it may have been related to my card overheating which i recently fixed.
