And be experienced by a whole new wave of people who had missed out previously.

Now only if we could get some of their exclusives in return......

The Mass Effect universe is incredibly well designed. The fact that none of the Alien races feel hackneyed or overly bizarre is a sign of it's strength. As soon as you walk in the citadel and see these aliens, your mind says "yeah, this feels right", which is the way it should be.

By no means is this comic a proper substitute for experiencing ME1 firsthand.

Especially *SPOILER* when you have to face Wrex about destroying the base on Virmire. Seeing what is without a doubt one of the most tense character-based moments in gaming reduced to one comic panel with a simple "kill/save" button was just shameful.

Reminds me of when SWTOR was first announced.

I'm really surprised they would release such unpolished screens. This game must be at least a year and a half away, probably more.

Kinect isn't worth the price YET. Give it a year, maybe a killer app or two, and who knows? It could be revolutionary.

Remember how much people hated on the PS3 before it started coming out with really awesome exclusives? Same thing will happen here.

The Elder Scrolls franchise has always represented a failure to move forward, and this looks like another 100+ hours of archaic game design. Just Boring.

....... lol, jk this game looks epic

Overrated? Not even close.

The Mass Effect series has continually set the bar for cinematic style and Role playing this generation.

From the beginning, Bioware established the Mass Effect universe as one that is deep, well thought out, and impeccably designed. Most IP's don't take 10 years to become this fleshed out. Mass Effect did it in 3.

In fact, were it not for Capitalism, this article would have never existed because there would be no internet.

"Have Star Wars games ever managed to encapsulate the very aspect that gave Star Wars a cult following in the first place?"

Obviously he's never played kotor

"Bioware's last portable offering was Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood for the DS, which the same tester also worked on. The 2008 title failed to impress critics, who bemoaned the game's light-hearted story."

It got solid reviews from most sites. I don't know what your talking about. And it's a Sonic Game, it's supposed to have a lighthearted story.

When I first popped in Mass Effect, I expected the game to start of with some loud, epic opening title screen. But instead, it started off with nothing but some fade-in fade out head shots of various characters, set to this music. That was when I knew I was in for something different.
