You slow to a crawl if your trying to punch and turn. That drove me crazy at times. At least I noticed that at times. Hopefully that's fixed by release.
I fought the Devil Walker in the exploration mode earlier than level 8. I was saying it becomes very easy at 8, but it is doable alone at lower levels. You either need to have some Ammo Synthesis for your weapons or you need to die so you get some primary back from each respawn..lol But as long as your patient you can take it down even at lower levels. I like it. That's pretty much all I have to worry about. I spent 20 hours on the Beta, which is nothing compared to some people. But still, that was a beta with 1 stage, except for the short 2 hour moon mission, which was fun. I say 1 stage because I only played PVP in the Iron Banner event long enough to get my Legendary level banner thing for my Titan. 99% of my time was spent in the exploration mode. You don't even need a squad to take down a Devil Walker. Once you have unlocked some of your better abilities and have some decent weapons you can take them down on your own as long as you have the ammo/patience. It doesn't really take that long at level 8.
It's a great game but...the story. It's probably the most unoriginal story they could have used. "Person gets bit, is immune to infection, must be protected to save humanity" That's not being nit picky, that's been used a million times over. The stealth mechanics are pretty basic. I noticed that.. I had level 8 gear doing more damage than that. I wonder if it had something to do with the cheats he had on. Maybe the enemies took less damage or something.
I keep forgetting about this. I've never really been interested in the other LOTR games but this one looks great, game play wise and visually.

Some of those ships can be used in the combat simulator. Also, if you buy a ship package, it includes the ship, beta access, and a copy of the game when it releases. So your getting more than just a ship you can't use in the game right now if you buy one. Sure you can buy extra ships, but that's purely for if you want to fund the game further. To me it's not zombies being the focus that is the problem. It's that so many of the games are basically carbon copies of each other. Dying Light looks like it will be able to separate itself from the rest enough to not get that "just another zombie game" tag. At least, to me it looks good, and different enough to want to play it.
I'm going to guess it's in the full version, and not the Beta. Having played many Alphas and Betas, I'm really leaning towards this scenario.

I don't mind them if they are not p2w and the game is f2p. They are giving you the game, if it's good, why not support them with some money. Games certainly are not free to make. They won't support the game with updates and new content if the revenue is not being generated to cover the costs of these things.
This doesn't happen a lot it seems but I was playing COD the other day with my cousin and he was downloading the map packs for it. While the downloads were going on the game was lagging. Not online, but single player, even the UI was a little laggy. So your not the only person this happens too. It definitely should not happen though. I have never had it happen on my ps4. But having seen it happen myself, very recently (Saturday), I can say for sure it does happen.
@jwm2 Good to know cheating is not a big deal to you, in your opinion. The thing is most people I have run into don't spot. That is their stupidity. Having something do it for you without you needing to think about it, and press the button to do it, is cheating.
For single player games, whatever, your only cheating yourself. But for multiplayer games, there needs to be some way to ban for this stuff. Being the top guy on the board is just too important to some people. To hell with just enjoying the game. It means if you suck at the FPS you are playing, and you need something to light up your enemies on the map for you, use this, you cheating pos. I believe that to be the definition.
They were exactly the same other than weapons did more damage in the Alpha.. That and they opened up a new map for 2 hours, oh and the Iron Banner events. Ok, so they were not exactly the same but besides those differences they were exactly the same..lol
