That's not maxed out at 2.7 gigs. I'm at 2.8 with 1080p and I don't have everything maxed but everything is at least on high with certain ones maxed out. Runs at a solid 60fps in every situation I've found on a 780ti.
I'm glad to be one of those buyers. The game is finally at the quality it deserves. It runs fantastic online and off on my pc. I for one am glad they took all this time to polish the pc version. The attention to detail in this game is just crazy.
I'm not one of the people that complain about this game. I still have fun with it. But 6 gigs should be another area to play in not minor changes. I see nothing in this update that should consists of 6 gigs worth of data. That's like new textures and shit. Come on.
But no one is hence my assumption that they are the ones outraged.
IDK why is the author outraged? They are certainly the only upset person I've seen over this. Everyone else just seems excited about the release later today.
People will read this and still call the pc version a port.
Nice that your teaching people pc basics. Everyone needs those skills now days. To me it sounds like your in the process of building your life. Good luck. One day you'll find the time you want for yourself.
It's amazing how some people overwhelm themselves. My bills get paid, I eat well, have time to be a parent which never ends, and still have time to game. Someone is doing this "life" thing wrong.
This is the main reason why I decided to go through and finish TW2. I want to take part in the decisions not just pick them from a list.
Holy crap. Well, other devs, the bar has been raised. Good luck reaching it, let alone surpassing any time soon.
I never finished 2, or played 1 for that matter.. But I'm going through 2 now and I'd recommend picking it up if you have a pc or 360. Great game. Beautiful for its time. I didn't like the combat at first but it's grown on me. To actually answer your question though, no you don't need to play the first 2.
No I don't actually. I wish they would have put that development time in to make the PVE better. But that's me being selfish. I know a lot of people like the PVP in Destiny. I should have stated PVE in my original comment.
Ahh, but that means it's still doable. :) Just not by your average gamer.
Edit: what are the specs? I didn't see them on the page or in the video.
It's not a trick, it just makes sense to show the best looking platform. But it's early. I can't tell if you were being serious or satirical. lol
I use the one from Crotas End more now. Similar damage, plus solar, and it doesn't take up an exotic slot allowing for g horn or something else better than Suros. I can't even think of a situation in the game where the healing ability would be beneficial.
@Dario That's the consoles hardware not the Frostbite engine. Every Frostbite engine game on my pc runs smooth as butter. (BF4, PVZ:GW, DA:I)
So I take it none of the console fanboys in here will be playing Planetside 2 or Wasteland 2 when they release on consoles? I saw the comment sections on those articles. I know the answer to that. But we'll just pretend that pc gamers are the only ones excited for "old games". But at least the old games we get are upgraded for our platform rather than the downgrades the consoles get to fit their aged hardware.
Edit: BTW you should be excited for those games, j...
You will be able to download them because it's 2015. Hence people throwing them into the category DLC, along with horse armor.
So expansions are equal to a downloadable skin because they can be downloaded now instead of having to go out and buy the disc due to changes in technology? Because expansions have been around way longer than this trend of pay 5 dollars to dress your character in new clothes. In case you were not gaming in the 90s.
The start menu cheats were awesome. Plenty of fun stuff to play with and now they are charging for them. This is just sad and greedy.
