TLOU was not a masterpiece. It used a recycled storyline and nothing in that game was new to gaming. No new mechanics, no new physics, nothing ground breaking at all, and it only looked good for a console game at the time. It's was an ok game that the devs cut out part of the storyline to sell as dlc. The only dev that gets praised for that. You cut away as the girl at that part. Then start up exactly where you cut off when you start the dlc. lol
I don't think most of the people on this site had been squirted out yet. Most of them never played games when missions were the norm. Not a storyline campaign to follow. Doom never had a campaign before that shit reboot came out. Neither did Battlefield before Bad Company. And it looks like Battlefront still won't. Which to me is a good thing. DICE doesn't do fantastic story lines. They would have just pissed Star Wars fans off.
At this point those free games are reimbursement for their paid service being down so much. I've never had a paid service go down as much as psn. If PSN didn't go down once a month, it might be worth more. But honestly. Paying to play online is a rip off anyway. There is no reason for it. Which is why you don't have to anywhere but consoles. They know folks like you will do whatever you need to, to justify the pricing.
Your still going to have to get better gear before you can even do the expansions. Your defence stats are crap and will die in seconds on higher level activities. It is much faster now though. I made a Hunter, finally, and it took me like a week to get it to 33. Just waiting to get all of the POE armor, for the higher defence stats.
I already know how this is going to work. Just like GTAV bounties. Player kills people, gets Rogue status, then just signs off for five minutes. In GTAV, people just run to their apartments to hide. Unless it stay on for 5 minutes of game time and not just a five minute timer that can be avoided, it will be a pointless mechanic.
@Fox, they have never marketed this game as anything but an online only mp/co-op game. I'm not sure where you could get the idea the game is anything else by what they have shown so far. But at the same time they haven't said no sp, so there is still a chance.
If it's like before you set it at the beginning of the game. Thing like gear, implants, and perks are able to raise them by a few points throughout the game. Having certain levels will allow certain perks to be unlocked as you level up. Say a perk requires 6 strength and 60 guns. It won't be available if you only have 5 so you have to find a way to raise it. It sounds like this may be different now. Maybe we do have to level our Special as we level. That's the way it sounds. All I have tried is Witcher 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Something new, and old. Both run great. No real change that I could notice. But none to be expected really.

FFS....why? So many un needed changes, like every single one of them. No guns need nerfed, ever. People need to quit whining and just learn to work around a weapon. I call bullshit on everyone of you fanboys pretending like you never heard of this at launch. It was an issue many people faced. There was several articles about it. I know someone who went through 2 non working ps4's before he finally got the one he uses now which has been fine. You can be sure not everyone was a happy customer at launch. But that's electronics for you. There has never been a mass produced electronic product with a 100% success rate.
Yes he can, eventually. PC gets mod kit, Xb1 gets mod support first for consoles some unknown time after mod kit is out for pc, then ps4 gets mod support later on.

Those kinds of mods won't be available on consoles because they can't run them. It will be weapons, skins, missions, different textures but not higher rez, maybe new perks, fun stuff. I think it's great they will be available on consoles eventually.
It's pricey but I still want one for my pc, and if I ever buy an xb1. I use a controller for a lot of games. Problem is, there just isn't enough buttons to customize certain actions. This solves that issue. It will be great for games like Elite: Dangerous where I prefer a controller for flight, but I still need to use my key board for a few things because there just isn't enough buttons on a basic Xbox controller.
Definitely a must play when it releases. This was very exciting to watch. Something that is different than everything else out there right now. Can't wait.
Same. I can't see having only one. Currently I have a pc, and ps4. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have an XB1 added to that list. Too many good games on all platforms to choose only one.
