Actually he is an elected official of the California State Senate, however you are right that we should also be angered that this crook betrayed the trust of the people. However I have always suspected he was dirty.

Agreed, also its not that great of a show and Sheldon just makes it completely unwatchable. There is nothing funny or unique about him since his character is a mash-up of House and Monk without any reason to like him.
The only way a 'Last of Us' movie will be good if its directed by Sam Raimi or a respected geek director like Joss Whedon or Christopher Nolan. If they get some noob hack to direct it then its going to be awful.
I've never liked this show and this episode is no exception. So they basically did a half-ass take on the console several months after South Park while focusing on features and reason nobody cares about. I now its Sheldon's character to be like this but compared to South Park its getting a lot of undeserved attention.
As the culture matures and becomes part of pop-culture, criticism of violence in video games has now become a joke. Unless its about torture or rape; no banter about violence in video games is going to be taken serious because its written under the assumption that gamers are children.
I notice most of the replies and some on other sites worry that the Oculus could be wasted on BS games like Candy Crush, FarmVille or some casual crap. I honestly believe that in a few years Zukerberg would kick Zynga and King to the curve after working a deal with major publishers like Rockstar, EA, UbiSoft, and Activision. Or thats what I'm hoping for.
Its safe to say that Facebooks plans to tell Zynga and King to pissoff as soon an exclusive Battlefield or Call of Duty is announced for Oculus Rift.
A lot of people are worried that Facebook would turn the Oculus into a Google Glass. However I thinks its more accurate to say that Zukerberg wants to compete with the big three.
I would have respectfully disagree with your statement regarding video games having a bad story. Spec Ops: The Line, BioShock: Infinite, and the Metal Gear-series had excellent or thought provoking stories. Also Resident Evil story could be interpreted as a modern retelling of Frankenstein regarding the progression of scientific advancements without a moral ethics to guide it.
I feel the only way there could be a good movie based on a video game is that it needs to be made by a good director who understands the medium and is going to be faithful to the source.
Also who would do a better job at making a Metal Gear Solid movie, Joss Whedon or James Cameron?
