YES! Excellent games will always be excellent and should be played by new generation of gamers. Also remakes are correcting odd control schemes and various bugs, and running on modern engines and emulators with multithreaded support for the modern processors. In most cases they are bringing true vision of the developers that were limited by the hardware at the time.
Well, these folks can play gaas games in 4k all day long for all I care, but the excitement and brand stranght comes from exclusive IP's. The only thing is they need to be good, and complete. Remember the excitement for the Sea of Theves. All the talk, yt videos, beta streamers, media. They need 2-3 new IP's this E3, and they need to be consumer friendly. But the whole mantra of gaas isn't. So whatever.

My cousin bought Xbox one. He got killer instinct. We put the disc and needed to download 27 GB of an update juts to play it. I was like turn the wi Fi off.

All this Sony stuff made me buy PS4 pro at the begining of the year, and I just recently finished The last of us. And yes...that is the best game in my entire life...maybe because I'm getting older but having those games even tho are from previous gen is stenght of PlayStation brand. Next up Shadow of guardian...well you know those two.
Just buy PS4...used, and don't look back.
