Articles are there because people really don't understand terms of use, and Microsoft isn't frankly clear about negative side of it. You can have one month access to one content and the next month your buddy can't. It's good to know which game access are you paying for.

Kinect started as PSVR but became bundled with every Xbox one also forced to be connected all the time. There was only one game that worked with it and that was dance revolution as I recall. Everything else was trial and error. PSVR on the other hand actually works but they need to adapt more software for it. It would be great if you could normally play God of War with actually looking behind main character's back and actually see the size of the bosses in the game. Guess you need a loot ...
Wooooosh! Anyway, PSVR is a gimmick, with couple of great games that pulled it off like RE7 but it needs more. As a gimmick it needs to stay a separate unit. Rumor has it that there will be built in support for Ps5. Great, but headset need to be separate unit to buy. Games are tho ones that will carry on VR beein on PS or Xbox. Without new IPs it's another Kinect.

It's the new market. VR idea is simple to explain, but hard to execute its simplicity, killer apps and price so that average Joe actually buys the thing. It needs a lot to produce reality effect: high frames, two screens, low sensor input lag and processor power. Given the technology today that is affordable enough (PS4/pro) 3 mil is a great achievement and assurance to invest more in the technology with PsVr2.
Yeah, but it is the most successful VR headset on the market. They are trying out the market for the next thing that will be psvr2. I'm just hoping that it is sold separately. It's great tech don't get me wrong but this thing has to be wireless and smaller. Also more games like RE7 and GTS.

GTS has a penalty system, which is not flawless and will always be tuned, but it keeps the races in check. Forza is one big slam show. That is a big difference for me.
I can't reply to your reply so I will write it here. You worry too much about that marketing sharpness. Just play the game, and enjoy the story and gameplay. Next consoles will come. I've had PS1 back in the day and had a blast as a kid. I hope that you played God of war and horizon before you turned in your console. I'm now looking forward to Red dead 2... The difference between versions is going to be in resolutions so no worries.

I don't care about 4k as I've seen not much difference in overall experience. Playing Witcher 3 in 1080 is about the same as playing it in 4k, as long as you can play it. PlayStation this generation has many games that you can't play on Xbox.
