I'm sorry, I have both subscriptions. Last year I've got xcom2, bloodborne, gow3, Rayman, Mad max, Hitman, where Xbox gave a bunch of really old games crackdown one, assassin's Creed one, Hitman blood Money...ok ..but x360 where better games than Xbox one offerings. Also their discounts are abysmal with 30 games on sale, where PSN had always over 500 titles put into categories.
Online looter shooter gaas games are getting terrible. Unfinished money grabbing broken crap.

Competition between studios that make software (game design, micro transactions, progression system, qest design, content dlc ext.) There was only one battle royal game. Now every major studio is implementing that model into their game.

That is correct, and its working fine if you are selling your hardware( console) well. You have large enough player base, or install base for your software. When your console sales are lacking then you try to migrate your services on other platforms aka pc...mobile...Switch.
The thing is...Microsoft is lacking in software department as well. Why would I buy Xbox live to play on PC? Or go through Microsoft store to buy a Pc game? Or Switch? For third party games? what? The only thing...
Most of the time psVita and PS3 titles were playable on ps4. We lost at least two additional games for ps4. They should put at least 4 games...three for ps4 and one psvr game, until ps5 enters the market.

I think that this has to be about Quest design. Choices are gonna have some impact on the story and progression so they will use experience so far with their Witcher series.
