FF7 Remake is a system seller, so that makes Sony money in the long run. Also it's a fixed deal for Square Enix which is better deal in a short run, for the faster return on investment for development. Later down the line it will eventually release on other platforms.
I absolutely disagree. Nobody wants gimped version of the system. Down the road you can have 8k resolution upgraded model.Please make a proper PS5, that is good for consumers and developers.

I get what this article is trying to say. Also, I get it's a clickbait title. If you look at the console market right now, the ones that are going to upgrade to the latest features, like Navi and ssd, and pay premium for it, are the hardcore gamers which Forbes calls Niche market. That can be said for all the things that are new. 4k tv's were also for the Niche market when the price was 2000$.

I really don't get why should people buy a new box just to stream their games. What is the purpose then for Xbox one X. That thing could easily run Xcloud app.

Well, you need to do your research better. Switch has taken down PS4 market share, and slowed down it's sales , as well as Xbox's. There are other factors included like price, and next gen announcements, but it did have an impact. Check some VG charts or some other yearly sales of platforms. You will see a change after Switch entered the market.
