Well yeah, there are a lot of jobs and tasks that require the number pad. So for those this obviously wouldn't be a good choice. I was just commenting on the article making it sound completely absurd to not have it. I can see some people who would never think twice about not having it, and could use the extra space to fit it in a backpack or bag easier.
I swear I'll kill somebody if that is it.
A lot of Laptop keyboards don't have the number pad either. I can't say i really miss it all that much.
But i still prefer the iPhone. The App store really is a dream come true for me.

This is trash. DLC is one of the worst things to happen to gaming. If it was actually used correctly (Valkyria Chronicles) it is good, but devs like EA just leave out content so they can make people pay more.

What would be the point in the BETA? They wouldn't have time to implement anything, and they defiantly wouldn't have gone through all this trouble with the BETA codes if they planned on having the release this soon.

Why not just put it in the game then? This is the problem with DLC. Developers see it as an opportunity to make some more money on features that would have been included in the game otherwise. Prime example - Metal Gear Online. I mean, come on Konami. You even put the GENE expansion maps in the trailers before the release of MGO.
This game doesn't look all too impressive to me. It looks like they focused so much on the "Terrain morphing" that they forgot about all the other gameplay aspects. And the morphing itself looks pretty bland.
