Damn! I got ME from the D2D 5$ deal on Cyber Monday, I kinda wish i waited, because i'd much rather have spent the extra 5$ for a digital copy.
Completely off topic, but anyone got a link to where that picture in the preview is from? ^_^
And does anyone know if the PC specs have been released yet?
Unfortunately, i was one of the people who quit soon after launch. I really loved the game, but the few people i played with were too upset about spamming, botting, and grinding to continue playing. So without them, i soon ended up getting bored and quitting. Was a very great game though!
Instead of using religion in general, i think what they're focusing on is Christianity. And the way Christians are seen in the media, it seems that everything outside their own religion is their mortal enemies. But something that should be remembered is that this is a few radical groups we are basing the assumption that all Christians are ignorant. Which is exactly what these radical groups do to gamers, base untruthful assumptions.
This is a really, really uninspired list. All the games listed are amazing, jaw dropping games. But they really missed out on some of the sleeper hit titles, and genres other than shooters. It feels like it was just one publicist that decided this himself.
The Xbox 360 is a great console that helped define the genre for sure, but i think one of the most defining points of it was the RROD. It DEFINED blunder in gaming hardware.
RROD aside, many of the features we see in the industry today were brought upon by the 360, so well done.
Hardware wise though, i still think the PS3 crushes it. And this year in gaming has been nothing but PS3. I guess we'll see how 2010 goes, but it looks like the PS3 will be a defining pi...
"Perhaps endgaet should have said Ten gadgets that defined the decade in US."
Good point. I do agree that some of these effected the US much more than other areas.
I still don't think that MS bought exclusives and bragged because they wanted to ride on the PS2's fame though, but rather brag about how detrimental each exclusive they bought was to the PS3 (or how detrimental they thought it would be.)
"We all know that x360 is a PS2 wannbe"
...what? How is it a PS2 wannabe in any aspect.
And again with the American comments, as if all Americans are babbling 360 fanboys.
I do think the 360 is appropriate for this list. If you look at the PS3, the impact of it is obvious. Things like trophies, network cards, cross game chat, etc are becoming standard in the industry.
However, i do feel that either the PS3 or BluRay tech in general should be listed though, as this is also quickly becoming an industry standard, and the PS3 definatly impacted it's success. I highly disagree with the article's complaints of a two format HD war. If HD-DVD was not a...
Just hold on a bit longer! It's a fantastic game, and any GG fan shouldn't be disappointed.
Is it just me, or do none of these deals show on the site?
Am i missing something here?
Haha, i know. Was just teasing. And no, unfortunately they cannot buy the Limited Collectors Edition. However, there is a "Collectors Edition" that is scheduled to come out in the US.
Heres the differences between the two via Wikipedia:
"Ubisoft have announced that Splinter Cell: Conviction will be released in three retail versions. As well as the standard version, there will be the Collector's Edition, and the Limited Collector's Edition. The Collect...
Contrary to popular belief, there are actually people in the UK that own 360s. ;)
Wow! Awesome deals all around. Would jump all over this if i didn't own all of them i wanted. :(
What does MS paying for exclusivity/marketing rights have anything to do with the collectors edition being available only on GAME?
Sorry man. I'm irritated at everyone calling MS out on this, so i jumped all over you without really reading through it. I'm still waking up. >_>
This boxart better be a joke.
Rofl what?
1. This is Ubisoft
2. Abandoning PC gamers because you're not going to get a poorly made figurine with your game?
Please be trolling. :(
What? How is this Microsoft's Fault? Blame Ubisoft.
And i don't see why this is such a bad decision anyways.
God no, Natal is going to be a huge flop. Considering the 360s demographics, i can't imagine many people even being interested, let alone paying the (probably) huge price for it. I just can't see any reason this will do well. Yes the technology is incredibly interesting. Yes it does look like fun to use. But what kind of 13-20 year olds are gonna beg their parents for Milo next Christmas? None.
Natal aside, no the 360 does not need Reach to survive. Anyone who looks at the...
