'Want' is the wrong word. I'm pretty sure people don't want to have to play online. My xbox friends have said to me how they really dislike paying it. It's more of a need on Xbox as it withholds online play which is very popular this gen.
You can't go assuming all those things.
I have 3 Xbox friends that are waiting patiently for the PS4 to be announced so they can jump ship as soon as possible. I've also got another friend who's thinking about changing too. If anything i think Microsoft should be worrying about Sony's attack on the American market because next gen they will be coming with a huge amount of leverage wanting to claim back those who originally switched from PS2 to xbox.
This is terrible. If you want a Wii download Dolphin. It's 100 times better and get this, absolutely free.
I don't think Sony will want to miss out on the huge Christmas sales.

All the ND crash games were awesome. It went to complete **** after the franchise left them.
I don't want another Crash game. It could never be as good as the originals.
Um.. that's not going to happen. Plus is their service. Also the vita gained cross game chat and don't charge a single penny for the feature.
Next gen PSN will be hugely upgraded and MS's live will be abundantly left in the dark as consumers will not want to pay for the exact same service which they can get for free.

That thing looks plain ugly. The Frankenstein of handheld consoles. It just shows that Nintendo didn't plan the design of the 3DS and are now trying to sell another bit of the actual device that should have been there in the first place. It also looks awfully uncomfortable.
