The PS3 is just the begaining of the take over and PS4 will probably be a Full base Computer Gaming. The idea is not to take over the Computers of programing or processoring, but to take over the Computers Gaming world. Sure you could do word processing and application on your PS3, but can you Play Next Gen games at a Low cost like the PS3? Of cours not.
